Do you have a video for installation of CB module?
This radio does not retain a cb
I would definitely use some velcro tape and tape the module to the steel bracket. Two 3" strips on each side should do. Otherwise you will hear it vibrating against that steel at idle on the big V-twin.
You can do that or use some zip ties

Can you cover the kenwood camera system install with the v2?
The Kenwood camera system does not connect to any radio
If I already had an amp installed and I am adding the radio with the MRR2, what would be the connection sequence for the large connector on the back? Would the MRR2 plug into the radio or would it plug into the harness from the amp? thanks!
The radio / mrr2 harness plugs directly into the radio, amp goes between stock radio harness and new radio harness

Follow this video and just use the most current firmware. The process is the same for either radio, remove it from the bike and plug it into your computer using the usb cable that came with the module

Jay, I just installed my radio with the help of your video, thank you! But, is there a way to get rid of the gap at the bottom between the radio and faring face? Did I do something wrong when installing it?
That is there with the factory radio, the fairing gets out of adjustment overtime and never fit perfect even when new. This is why Harley put a foam strip there
Ok, factory radio fits perfect, no gap and no foam.

@@johnrolfe6995 the foam is on the backside of the inner fairing top and bottom because it does not fit tight from factory
Definitely no foam. Checked several times. It’s flush on top but that little gap on the bottom. When I put the stick radio in, it’s a perfect fit. Should I worry about this gap? It’s really not that noticeable.
Do all thumb controlls work with this radio?

Is there a trick to getting the speed to register on the home page? Mine reads 0 but on the gauge page it shows my speed. My rally mode only works if I’m the dj. I can broadcast but not receive.
Update coming to fix Home Screen speed, call tech support about the rally mode issue
Just got my head unit, huge difference in sound quality compared to the stock Harley junk. When it comes to the remote wire for the amp that was wired in initially with the stock radio, do I leave it where it is plugged in, or do I need to move it over to the plug that is on the MRR2 harness? Everything is working but just wanna make sure

Does anyone else think that it is odd that the radio will not play through wired headsets? My wife and I have J&M wired headsets and they work fine with the Harley radio. So I am forced to go wireless with this radio? Seems to be a step backwards, don't you think?
Wireless is the future, Harley deleted wired as an option on 24-up models also

Factory amp is wired through the stock speaker wiring and is plug n play to this radio

What did you say about the guages not working with Thundermax tuners? Is it only if you have autotune or is it with all Thundermax tuners?
Thundermax ecm’s do not send gauge data out for the radio to read, all other radio functions work, including the advanced thumb controls and the motorcycle info screen

No but I’m told there are some that pair to a phone app that can be viewed in apple carplay
Is this unit louder than the OE radio? can I get by without installing the amp and speakers? 2023 road glide limited
About a 3rd more power than the stock radio, still not as powerful as the aftermarket amps we normally use

Q: Is it really necessary to run the fast charge cable and grommet to the storage pouch? Does the V2 no longer charge (maybe slower) a phone connected to the stock USB? I am assuming that the fast charge is just that...a charging Type C USB cable. Is that correct? Also, I assume that the factory USB is still needed for Apple CarPlay connectivity or is that wireless as well?
Q: What is the model of the camera system(s) are compatible with the V2? I heard that there was a new one coming out that will work with the V2 as the Kenwood STZ-RF200WD is somewhat incompatible. Other than security, I thought that would be kinda cool with the reverse capability of the RG3.

There is no reason to not run the usb c cable, if plugging in to charge it will charge much faster than the usb a. Yes apple CarPlay is wireless. We have several back up camera options. Call us at 1-844-30AUDIO to go over pricing and options

It has an amazing sound, well worth the cost in sound alone but then it adds so many awesome features too

Why can’t you use the factory GPS antenna?
Sometimes you can but the included antenna has worked better in my testing
Ordered mine last week! Because the V2 has a selectable crossover should I select "FLAT" on my Diamond V2 or leave the hi-pass crossover on? Tired of having to adjust my amp on my Roadglide..Sick of the GTS.
I set crossovers at amp level when available

I like the idea that you can walk up to the bike, turn it on, and use the wired microphone without putting your helmet on. It looks really slick when showing off your new system to your buddies.

No, it only sees factory style tpms sensors once registered to the bikes ecm
There is an aftermarket TPMS that has an apple carplay capable app. Can monitor tire pressure thru careplay.
