When I decided to put a head unit and speakers into my FLHTP, It was clear I have to go for Volunteer Audio. The install series with the FLHTP made my own install a breeze. The pre-config of the parts was priceless (I still have to fully go through all config options but so far, I just didn't need it as everything just worked). I got the hertz sx 165 Neos speakers with the precision power amp also with the flash for my GTS radio. I did the install myself on my road glide. I watched your step by step videos and it went smooth… and I’m very happy with the sound crystal clear going down the highway at higher speeds!

Started watching the vids a year ago because the GT radio on my 14 Limited was buggy and not working properly anymore. Knew I was going to do something but was waiting to save $ and decide. Finally the hdhu14’s went on clearance and made up my mind for me. Ordered the head unit and Precision Power speakers first. Knew I could tackle the job after watching the install vids and it went as expected. Great upgrade and quality but quickly decided I wanted an amp so later ordered the Hertz 600w and added that. The entire system sounds very good at full volume and can be heard over my Rinehart pipes which can be loud at higher speeds. I have no complaints. A complete new audio system for under $2k and self-install. Only minor recommendation I would make is a refresh of the website which is kind of dated and can get confusing. Didn’t stop me from buying at VA and being satisfied tho. ✌️

Jay I wanted to give my review on the Hertz sp4.900 amp that I installed that I purchased from you. I am also running the hertz sx165neo I purchased that one from a different vendor sorry in my upper fairing on my 23 road glide Limited Right now I have the stock speakers in my tour, pack so I removed it and running without it at the moment until I get the extra money saved up to purchase a pair of sv165neo . I watched a lot of your videos and they’re very informal. That’s why I decided to purchase from you. I installed my amp the day after I had my radio flashed from a local audio dealer, in the Kansas City area, which was trying to run their mouth and say that they need to be the one installing everything and I should’ve bought from them that you cannot do a install by yourself which I knew different they were trying to feed me some BS line that nobody can pre-tune everythingand be plug-in play. But I knew different. I put on about 600 miles over the weekend and you definitely can hear a lot better. It is definitely clear and more crisp seems like a little bit too much highs for my taste, but I’m sure once I add speakers to the tour pack, it will help out considerable. May I make a couple suggestions? Is there a way when you make up the wiring harness, can you shorten some of the excess wiring that is not necessary I struggled that night trying to find the best way to hide it in my fairing and make it look nice and neat. I know it’s inside and nobody’s gonna see it but I’m kinda OCD. Also, if you would do a video on how you tuck up the wiring and make it nice in the fairing, I would appreciate it sometimes having a different method in front of you helps. I want to thank you for the great videos the good service that I received and also thank you for the Bible that I received with my order. And I’m looking forward to upgrading my system down the road and make it even better. God bless.

I like all the videos you guys put out it’s entertaining and i’ve learned a lot from them enough to do my own system. I’ve got my sound stream SI from you guys and My hertz Sp4.500 amp from you guys which you guys should do a video on With specs and stuff it’s not the biggest Hertz amp, but it’s pretty bad ass. I’m still building my system so far I have the fairing speakers. Infinity kappa 6.5 the amp and sound stream SI installed. I’m about to do the saddlebag speakers Infinity 6x9. Can’t wait to get it done. I’ve been put this system together now for about 2 years. Start off with just fairing speakers, then move to the sound stream SI and then the amplifier and now the saddlebag speakers. I’ve never been one to do things on my own. I usually pay people to do it even though I can’t afford that, but with all Jay’s videos, I’ve learned how to do it and got confidence to do it. so I won’t buy anything for my bike again that has to do with audio from anybody else. Well let me tell those other competitors, They can not ride the shirt tails of Jay and his crew, I purchased a awesome system installed it myself, it blows away my buddies 6 speaker system he has on his roadglide and it was installed by a reputable installer, well we did a radio sound off including a few other people during Myrtle Beach Bike week and take one guess who's system came out on top? That's correct the Soundstream SI with the Hertz 1000watt amp and speakers that came ith the set. Thanks Jay one day when I get up into Tennessee I'm gonna stop by.

I’m in Indiana and I’m trying to decide between Volunteer Audio or NVSAudio. Both companies put out good videos. Which speakers are better/louder, Hertz or cicada speakers? I have a 2024 street glide and I’m waiting patiently/impatiently (lol) on a plug and play 4 speaker system with 2 in the front and 2 in the saddle bags.
