pretty sure you might of chose my exhaust for me. I have a cammed LS1 with a t56 magnum & 9" that I have running good I finally need to figure out its exhaust. Can you tell me what kind of crossmember you use? it seems like all the nice setups use Hooker Blackheart for the exhaust clearance, but it almost looks like you have one of the BMR/UMI ones? I have a BMR T56 crossmember. I bought it when I first started my swap and was too broke for the Hooker and now I'm trying to figure out if it's going to be better before I do exhaust to bite the bullet and get the hooker crossmember and try to sell my BMR piece. If you're using one of the BMR/UMI style ones do you have any issue with exhaust clearance/scraping?

I have this code on my 2015 Suburban. Would this cause rear-end shake at highway speeds? Maybe that is another issue. I know it is not tires.

She's beautiful, 3rd Gens aremy preference as well. I sold my 92 rs in 2022 to start on the 5.3 LS swap in my 06 rt magnum wagon with a dead hemi . My 92 was clean and ran like new and all stock except her chrome 20 irocs so she didn't need her 305 swapped for an LS . I'm looking for another black 91 or 92 rs hardtop and may get a proj to use my other 5.3 swap I have . I love the 5.3 motors and all 3 of my burbans I have and drive are 5.3s (03,07 & 2010). I don't understand why I see more fox body stangs with LS swaps than 3rd Gen camaro ls swaps but there are 10k stangs of every body style with LS swaps rolling around or at strips

I’m seriously considering purchasing my father in law 85 iroc z with the 305 and 700r4. My intention would be to LS1 and T56 swap it with a black paint job. There is some sentimental value in the car itself compared to any other Camaro/firebird out there… but is this swap worth it for the $$

Im workin on an ls swap for an 84 camaro and i have many questions about little things

Honestly I would have left it like before...but i would have eliminated the muffler all together place a tee to run out the dual pipes and you would get that throaty sound...on my 88 iroc I removed the catalytic and the muffler as well and my 5.7 tpi ROARSSSSS

I just got some of these for my recent 84 sport coupe project. It’s a flat v6 hood so should be fun but the supports underneath are shaped like the z28 hood Louvers .

To the ones who say one bank goes one way and one goes the opposite - I just tore down my 2007 - gen 4 engine with 365000 miles on it. I have this Tahoe since new - so it has never been tore down. EVERY dimple is facing rear! There is zero wear on any bearing, and there is .015 side clearance. And I've tore down 7 more gen 4 LS engines (cannot say if they were never tore down) but EVERY one had the dimple facing rear. So, for 1, 365000 mile LS, and 7 more LS's, the factory installed the rods wrong? UM, NO. When a stock crank is used, the dimple can be used for orientation. When a crank with a radiused fillet is used - you should be using proper rods with proper chamfers...
