    NICE INFO!! You need to tag QP in on this and show them the brackets you made up, should be a option for those who wish to purchase their rear ends actually should come pre-welded for thirdgen brakes.. I mean yeah you could use a super big ziptie, but i am like you and prefer a permanent solution..
    DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!
    KEEP THE GREAT VIDS COMING MAN, The more knowledge the better off all 3rd gen guys are!

      Thanks man appreciate that. Yes it definitely should come with some simple brackets included with the kit. This was my first time installing a rear-end and expected that the QP rear-end would have all this installed but it didn't so I had to figure it out as I went along. Maybe I should make a quick performance bracket kit hmmm🤔

      @@Brandon-LSX They have the best priced one out there with Moser a close second, i don't think Moser or (ANY) for that matter has those brackets or asks extra $$$ for them i think.. QP is the (ONLY ONE) to my knowledge that will work with factory 10 bolt disc brakes on 3rd gens also, all others require a upgrade to LTI or LSX brakes which is a load of bs..
      I can understand upgrading the front brakes to newer tech, that is where most of your stopping force comes from, i would venture to say 80%+ when slamming the brakes, but i don't get why they cant weld on some easy brackets like that, or go just a bit further for that price i mean it would sell more rears and get them more orders especially if they kept the same prices on them..
      In this orld if you are not innovating and leading, you are falling behind..
      Now.. If we could just get someone to step up with a custom lower base plate that allows a LSX maganacgarger/whipple charger intake low profile supercharger on a GEN 1 SBC or someone to start doing OEM remakes of the GTA/TA taillights for third gens.. Then we could finally have options..
      Mustang guys have like 30 options on (EVERYTHING) on their shit cars.. Makes me wanna puke sometimes! It does especially knowing the Thirdgen is the superior car compared to Fox's..
      Hence my license plates.. "FOXKLR".. Yeah baby.. Plan to annihilate some:) U?

      @@ICONBADGTA Yes I definitely think Quick Performance is the way to go. Price and quality is top notch. I agree to some simple brackets would go along way. Who wants to put on zipties or hose clamps on a spendy trick rear end. I would love to beat up on some foxbodys just haven't found any yet. Did you see my video of me beating the procharged SRT8 Jeep on my channel it was priceless 😄

    Thanks for the tag, buddy! That QP looks beefy as hell! Great video… I’m still “tooth pick legs” with my 9 bolt. Luckily I don’t have sticky tires. Plan on upgrading later this year.

    • @Brandon-LSX
      @Brandon-LSX  Před 3 lety +1

      The quick performance is definitely beefy. I dont think I can come close to breaking it anytime soon. I plan on hitting the track here soon and know once I put sticky tires on the old 10 bolt would be history. Also adding some gears in the Z definitely woke it up big time. We've got some of the baddest 85 Irocs around. Good work on the LSA too I'm jealous. 😄

      @@Brandon-LSX thanks dude! The LSA ended up being nice but I definitely went way over budget and a few rabbit holes that took forever to figure out. I had the LS3 dialed in so nice…. Oh well it will get there soon! Yeah you are ready for some stickies now… what tires are you going to run? I hear the Toyo R888R is the ticket

      @@FireballMullet I can definitely relate to blowing the budget haha. Same thing happened here with the 9 inch. The center section in this video I bought used off market place turned out to be junk. So I had to do a rush order from Quick performance on a new center section which was spendy. I have Street Machines Nationals this coming weekend so I didn't have a choice. For tires I'm running Firehawk Indy 500 right now there decent but not quite sticky enough. I'm not sure yet was thinking about just getting a set drag radials for the strip.

    Looks awesome did you have any problems with the torque arm hitting the floorboard my car is lowered 1.5 in so I heard some things about that and whether or not you can use an adjustable torque arm on that quick performance

    • @Brandon-LSX
      @Brandon-LSX  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks yeah I did have some clearance issues with the torque arm. Had to do a little bit of hot roading. I cut some of the torque arm bracket off to use the inside set of holes. Also had to clearance parts of the floorboard with a rubber mallet. Now everything fits and clears good. My car is lowered in the rear to which is what causes alot of the clearance issues.
