  • Installing the trac spec functional hood louvers on my 1985 Iroc-Z Camaro. These will definitely lower under hood temps and add another level of attitude. Very happy with the fit and function of this mod. No more overheating in traffic with AC blasting on any 3rd gen camaro. Functional hood louvers.

I just got some of these for my recent 84 sport coupe project. It’s a flat v6 hood so should be fun but the supports underneath are shaped like the z28 hood Louvers .

Started out as a street car but, became more drag car. Was planning a LS2 402 with a 6-speed. Bigger brakes, Weld S77 wheels. Put the stock hood back on with the hood louvers like you have. Etc, etc. Again props on your car.

I have a 1984 Chevy Caprice 2 door with LM7 5.3 .20 bored with the LSA supercharger on top just like fireball mullet just with ZL1 lid. (Not installed yet, working on stiffening stock frame)
I'm thinking of going to the junkyard and cutting vents off the iroc and grafting into my hood, because I like how they sit on fireball's mullets car. Right there on both sides of the supercharger lid to get rid of a lot of heat..
