Very nice
My first car was an 81 Z28 but always liked the 3rd gen body style.
Love the 2nd generation too. But the 3rd gens have great body lines.
@@Brandon-LSX I was originally going to save up and buy a new 84 Z28 but just out of High School couldn’t wait and bought a used 81.
Finally got another Camaro this summer 2020 SS 1le. I think when I retire in a couple years I’d like to do a project. Thinking either something like you did or a 1st gen retro mod.
I’ll be looking forward to seeing more content from you.
Your car looks beast . I hope my car looks 1/2 as good as yours does . Saving for an ls7 presently .
Thanks Man the LS7 would be amazing.
my dad is a body shop manager when hes not waiting on a kidney ha, but he is really trying to get me to redo the body of my firebird as shes getting a little rough still a great starter but needs a fender and some body work maybe a quarter panel as the paint is getting rust through down low. this video made me wanna start on mine right now lol but i have to wait until i get the new manifold and computer installed and the fuel pump issue figured out first.
I say go for it Man. That's the best time to do body work when there not running haha. Sometimes it gives you the extra motivation to get it finished if its looking nice 💯
Nice ThirdGen bro. When you get a chance please do a vid on your suspension and drivetrain mods.
Thanks will do Man. I plan on covering some of that info here soon.
Looking real good
Thanks its nice to finally get that done.
Thanks for the great video .. keep up the great work too my long distance AMERICAN BROTHER !!! 🦅🇺🇸🦅
Anytime Brother. Thanks for watching.
Hell yeah looks badass
Thanks it turned out pretty good.
Little off topic, I watched your transmission video but didn't see what your running for hydraulics for the clutch. I'm also doing a swap on my 3rd gen. Thanks
I just replied to your other question more indepth.
Where did you pick up your intake tubes? Also how do you have you compressor hooked up for painting?
Nice looking 3rd gen. Wish mine looked that nice. Drove my 3rd gen today. Starting to get cold here in MN. Got to get the driving in before winter.
Thanks ya I'm in MN too. I planned on taking it out today. Not many days left to enjoy it before snow.
Looks good man. Got an 88 model myself. Love 3rd gens.
Me too man. There awesome 👌
@@Brandon-LSX i gave mine to my son and we are kinda doin some vids on here with it. Gotta some work to do on it but iv owned 25 yrs.
@@centermass4962 That's what it's all about.
Do you have a part number for the cold air intake and what kinda spray gun you using
The intake is Airaid AIR-100-400
gun was just a 30 dollar hvlp gun off Amazon.
Winter's coming to us here in New England. Should I disconnect my battery and store in a warm place or attach a Battery Tender? I see your battery connection and figured I'd ask. Nice job on the spraying.
Thanks. I like to remove and store in warm place off the ground. Charge it up once halfway through winter. Unless its in a heated garage I don't worry about it to much.
What kind of transmission you used and rear end?
T56 from 2006 GTO. Still running the stock 10 bolt. It's taking the abuse just don't dead launch very hard.
Soo what trans would you recommend if I’m going automatic?
@@mr.turner2661 depends on how much power your making. 4l60e or 4l80e. 4l80 being the stronger but more expensive option.
Quick question, for the 2x4 blockes under the tires, what lengths did you cut them? Like squared or is the front and back side of the rim longer?
Its best to build them for your specific car. Take a measuring tape to your wheel. I like to go 4 inches wider than tire. Also long enough that your wheel rest in-between the 2 wheel stops so it couldn't roll off at all.
@@Brandon-LSX alright, I have stock z28 wheels, and my cars been slowly worked on in a storage unit the last 5 years ive been in the military.
Thanks for your service 🙏 I'll get you some measurements from mine to give you a better idea.
@@Brandon-LSX thank you brother
Nice work! Any plans on selling your stock seats perhaps?
Yes I actually did plan on selling them.
@@Brandon-LSX Selling all as a set? What will you be pricing them at?
@@kmorriss5783 Yes would keep as set. If you local and can pick up I'll do 150. If I have to ship you would have to pay for the ride.
Deal! I'm local just need time and place to pick them up.
@@kmorriss5783 I'm available today. Located near Maple Grove.
I don’t see a budget nowhere with this car 😂
