  • I researched and found the electric fan I wanted based on being both, a 2 speed fan, as well as being a high flow fan. Actually easy to find one when searching junkyards. they were kind of plentiful.

    Very similar to my set up, my engine and trans is out of 05 Escalade, (LQ9 / 4L65E) with a sloppy 2 cam and built trans, with "Beast" shell. then the ECU is out of my old 2004 express 3500, these allow you all the flexibility for adding things like future E85 etc. Runs real strong pure joy. I did spend the money for a Speartech custom wiring set, super quality and support. I used a OEM duel set of fans from Hawks seem to work good. Looking good, wish you well.

    One problem you might want to take care of is the barely noticeable split in your rad hose.

      Both top and bottom were purposely cut to shorten them up. I got an aluminum piece to splice together.
