Nice video ! You deserve more subs !
Thanks Man. Subs are cool and all but sometimes it's just about doing the Gearhead thing and helping people out.
Great video,thanks,
.How’s the clutch holding up?Happy with it?
How is this clutch holding up to a cammed ls3 power level? The LS7 clutch seems to have a slightly different part number unless I am reading these part numbers wrong. Considering the same setup for my cammed ls3 69 camaro
Holding up quite well. Drives like factory and is holding 430 whp. I would say 450 is probably its max though anything over will probably start slipping with sticky tires.
Did you use factory 4th gen master and slave?
I'm installing LS3 with TR6060 (out of a 2011 Camaro) this combination had 96,000 miles (I and Grandson pulled it from the car). I was thinking of not replacing the Clutch assembly, what's your opinion?
Definitely replace it your already there and 96k is well worn. Its better to be safe then sorry.
hey bub I'm trying to order the same flywheel as you, what year vehicle did the clutch kit come from? or do you know the part number for flywheel?
It all came as a kit. Not sure on part numbers it's been awhile.
Where do you get that clutch kit for that price
Do you remember if the pressure plate was fully seated on the flywheel? With mine there's a gap between the pressure plate and the flywheel and I'm not too sure if that's normal
There was a gap until I torqued down the pressure plate. Once its seated there shouldn't be a gap if I remember right. Double check to make sure all the dowl pins are through the right holes on flywheel.
@@Brandon-LSX thanks, that's exactly what happened!
Hey what slave Cylinder and master cylinder did you use with t56
I'm running a tick adjustable master and LS1 slave.
What bolts did you use for the bell housing
I bought a set off Amazon by ICT I believe.
I have starter from 2007 Tahoe will it work ,or should I get ls2 starter
It's been awhile but I believe only the ls2 starter will work.
Will this clutch kit fit a 2010 camaro ss ls3 6speed, I can’t find a clutch that cheap for the life of me
Yes I'm running it behind my LS3 and T56 6 speed.
@@Brandon-LSX how is the engagement and sound?? Is it acceptable to drive on a daily?
@@FirstLast-tx3yjIt's great. Engagement is smooth and feels like factory. Is holding up to 450hp just fine.
I have a ls3 in my 2010 ss its manual do u think its the exact same thing
Yes its the same thing. 6.2l all aluminum.
Thanks for confirming it
Hi. Good job. I have a 6.0 L76 and a t56 could I use the same clutch setup?
Yes if your running the LS1 style t56 and not the LT style.
@@Brandon-LSX yes. ls1 style. thank you. nice videos.
@@johnospina539 Thanks
Sorry, I forgot something. What starter do you recommend, I buy it for what car?
@@johnospina539 Has to be used the ls2 starter.
Not sure if you didn’t put it in the video but you didn’t show torquing the 2nd bolt to the left of the dowel hole
On pressure plate or flywheel? Its possible I cut it out. The video was getting super long so its possible I accidentally cut it out.
Dude good eye! I think you're totally right thank you for catching that. I'm going to be pulling my pressure plate back off to double check. I think I'm going to be using a paint pen on ea bolt after its torqued like I did on my rear main cover as future insurance.
Wrench U that’s exactly what I do when I torque a bolt. It’s very easy to miss something. Just looking out for you
I appreciate it big time Man.
Yea i noticed that too
Numers bolts arp kit
What hydraulic set up are you using?
Just running the stocker 2006 GTO setup it came with the T56 I bought.
@@Brandon-LSX , ok that doesn't help me much. Thanks
I have a T56 magnum f on the way
I'm using the Tick adjustable master cyclinder. With stock LS1 style slave cyclinder. I tried to use the ls1 master cyclinder but ran i to issues with it not engaging.
@@Brandon-LSX , thank you... nice car
Iroc lsx do u have a part number? For the clutch
Luk 04-905
What year t56 are you running???
It's a 2005 or 2006 from a GTO.
@@Brandon-LSX you think the same clutch kit will work for a 2002 Camaro t56 going on a l92?
@@ladislaoaguilar9533 Yes it will work.
Thanks!!!
You only torqued 5 bolts
Ya I totally missed one luckily I've went back and retorqued it. I think from here on out I'm going to use a paint pen on all my bolts after there torqued.
you should never use Red loctite on bolts in a car. I see endless mechanics pist when people do because it's almost impossible to get them off.
I used to think that but if you don’t put any it will leak oil thru the holes. It’s recommended on JZ engines to do the same. Took mine out and never had an issue.
