I wasn’t so lucky. My towel bars took the wall with it leaving two holes. My TP holder will not budge, I cut all the way around with an oscillating tool, it still won’t move, it’s solid as a rock in there. Smashing it is my next option, but I don’t really want to do that.

Mine are on tile. Is there tile behind or will I find a hole?

When doing a 27 ft tall fireplace do you have to do it in square sections at a tine and try to match up or is the work tome on the producta enough time to spread full section before scratching

I have been using a balled up plastic bag to raise it a bit before knocking it down. It has worked for me, but doesn't look nearly as nice as this! Im going to go punch a hole in my wall now just so I can try this technique!

why not use a hopper and compressor to apply the mud?

Hi What texture did you spray on after skim coating everything walls?ceilings?? I love level 5 smooth walls/ceilings unfortunately every single ding scratch blemush etc from wear/tear with kids/pets becomes very visible very quickly 😢.

Sorry, dumb electrician here. I was taught that a blowout patch started with screwing a piece of wood behind the hole into the remaining drywall, and then screwing the patch into the wood. Is that not necessary?

Do not do this! Cut the holes horizontally to the studs and attach 2x4 blocking inside the wall. Attach a new piece of drywall and secure to the blocking.
