Today we will show you the easiest and simple way to repair your drywall ceilings after you had a roof leak that caused some water damage. We will bring you through the process and show you what tools work best.
TOOLS/PRODUCTS USED IN THIS VIDEO:
✅ Plastic and tape to protect:
➡️ 2 inch tape, painters plastic and thick plastic
✅ Drywall tools
➡️Drywall knife- 10" Stainless steel drywall knife
➡️Drywall pan- 16” level 5
➡️ Milwaukee cordless router
➡️ Dewalt cordless screw gun
➡️ Gallon paint mixer
➡️ Harbor freight hopper for texture.
✅ Products used:
➡️ 1/2 inch sheet rock 8x4
➡️ USG 5 minute drywall mud
➡️ USG coarse popcorn
➡️ Mesh tape
➡️ 1 1/4 inch drywall screws

I am doing a ceiling repair. Pieces are in ready for tape and mud. At which stages of mudding can I take a day off. I have a neck injury and can't go for hours with my head bent and usually need a day or 2 to recoup. Thanks.

Doing ceiling work is hard on the neck. I would say tape and first coat of using regular mud. If hot mud it all depends on you.
