    I love my out dated toilet paper holder. lol
    I was looking for a video on how to put it back on the wall. I don't think one can buy them anymore.

    This is my first time watching your vids. I am in the position where I am going to be removing the toilet paper holder from the wall, as well as 2 soap dish holders. Your instructions were/are very clear. Very much appreciated!!

    The problem with ceramic holders is that most won't hold a mega-roll.

    This is a great video. My towel bars and toilet paper holders are the same but seem to have grout around them. What what do I do?

    • @finaltouchdrywall
      @finaltouchdrywall  Před 2 lety +4

      If it’s on the wall I’ll get it will come off the same. It’s ceramic so most times they grout them.

    Will these repairs be obvious if we hang a new TP holder in the same place? Will it pull up the tape or anything?

    Do you have a video on how to add the texture back to the wall if you don’t have the fancy machine?

And honestly I hate the tile! Please HELP ME!!!! what can I do to chop them off and fix it?!?! I ALSO HAVE THE TOOTHBRUSH HOLDER AND SOAP DISH!! he just put in a new mirror, vanity, and light now hes about to paint but I want them off so bad please help me 😦

      Good morning.
      The ones in the shower you will need tiles to fill back up. The soap dish and tooth brush holder you can do the same way as the video you watched. If you need more instructions let me know. Hope the videos help.

    What happens if it’s attached to (also outdated) ceramic tile on the wall?

    • @finaltouchdrywall
      @finaltouchdrywall  Před 3 lety +2

      It’s time to update!
      If you can’t then I would say just get the pieces of tile that are cut for it and replace it with something close to it.

    Hi. Please help! I have to remove a ceramic toilet paper holder that is attached to a wooden cabinet. How the heck do I do that??? Long story short. My dad's coming home from the hospital tomorrow, and the toilet paper holder will be in his way, and has to go. I need to get it off as neatly and smoothly as possible. I don't have time to get a handyman. I have to do it myself sometime today, and I'm not a handy girl. Please help!

    • @finaltouchdrywall
      @finaltouchdrywall  Před 2 lety +2

      Well that’s odd that a ceramic one is attached to a wooden cabinet. You just have to remove it to see what it takes to fix. Might need a handyman in this case. Only because it will need to be patched with wood.

      @@finaltouchdrywall Thank you so much for replying so quickly. Yeah, it is weird. The walls in the bathroom are ceramic tile, and all the fixtures are cemented ceramic, but the side of the vanity is wooden, and that's where they decided to cement on a ceramic toilet paper holder. I guess I'll see if I can get it off, and then hire handyman to make it look nice later. Thanks again!

      @windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 Před rokem

      Yup, we have that, too! It's not solid wood, so I don't care much. If it gets bad, I'll patch and paint it as it's worn, anyway.

  • @windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823

    Removing mine because it sticks out and it's in a stupid spot w no side clearance.

      @@finaltouchdrywall thanks for the link. My father has a metal one with no apparent hardware holding it in place. Can it probably be pried off like that as well?
