I'm putting up new drywall. Would I do the joints and Base coat with regular joint compound then start the process of doing the steps for the plaster

Thank you! They have a sealer they do sell. It just depends on how wet. It isn’t for showers. It’s pretty water resist as is but not totally. The extra sealer does help.
Do you need to apply a wax after the metallic finish or would it affect the pearlescent finish??

You can use wax like a silver wax, if you want but not needed

5:57 what is that, any kind of wax?
It’s a transparent glaze that goes over the KS called Ruston metal. It’s a metallic coating. Beautiful stuff.
@@finaltouchdrywall whats difference between ruston metallic and dune metallic ?
@@eklazhward4739 to me the only difference is the dune is more like a paint and the Ruston is more transparent. Ruston is almost like water down dune. I like dune better
the first hand you made from ks white the second from Ruston metal and the last thing you sponge on is stone metallic (this is DUNE)????????
The first 2 coats is KS, in a grey color, the sponge on (top coat) is rust on metal silver which is the metallic. Dune is awesome too but the rust one is a little different.
The material ks is same a archi?
Marmorino KS is different then the archi.
@@finaltouchdrywall but the archi, ks and marblestone can be applied in the same way, excuse me I asked teacher
I haven’t used marble stone as much. The archi concrete and archi petri is different then ks. It’s more coarse. Not the same technique as the ks
