Hi I've just subscribed to your channel its great thanks for all the tips and advice. I am looking for a effect that crackles the plaster surface do you know of any techniques to do this please. Do you know if I didn't want it to crack it probably would do knowing my luck haha.
When you do a wall and you’re on the second coat of ks, do you start burnishing before you get done with the whole wall? Like if you’re in the middle of the wall do you stop , grab your burnish trowel and burnish the section that you started on the left?
Yes. You don’t want to get too far and it dry up on you. If you see my other videos I have some in there that show it.
Nice work, how long did you let it dry up for before you started burnishing?
Not too long. Just enough.
In the video you said you tinted the silver rust on metal to the same color as the second coat of KS ?
Is that correct ? If so , what do they use to tint the metallic glaze ? I thought the silver was the tint by itself. Can you wax over this finish or no reason to ?
Thank you for your time
It gives it a different feel. I am not a fan of tinting it but it dulls down the metallic. For me on dark colors the Ruston is too silvery and doesn’t look as good, when you tint it is brings down the silver. It makes it better. I would rather use dune metallic over the last if tinting it tho. The best is putting that Ruston over untainted KS and it looks like mother of pearl
You can wax over it but isn’t needed
Can you tell me what to buy for doing a matte black concrete looking wall?
Archi concrete from Firenzecolor with black tint for it and a sealer.
@@finaltouchdrywall Thank you for replying

how long u wait between 2nd layer and spraying&bushing? 2nd layer should be full dry ?
Yes each layer should be fully dry except for the burnishing. The second layer shouldn’t be fully dry to burnish. Just needs set up.
@@finaltouchdrywall what u think about adding some Dune paint on fully finshed and polished marmorino ks for making effect like " pietra spaccata" ? Or dune should be applied before polshing whole wall ?
Yes on some of my other videos I have dune on top. Check out some of the other ones. That’s one of my favorite finishes with the dune on top. The wave effect too I put dune and sometimes put some silver wax on top and buff to get it a really good shine. I have a wave wall coming up that I’ll be doing that with
