THANK YOU Justin, just followed your suggestion, and did the hallway, and I will do the rest of the house in the same way, goes so much faster, Love it!!! Did the first room (12x12) with that pump sprayer and I thought I was going mad, this is fast, and about as messy. Saw another guy who uses his outdoor paint sprayer with just water, great if you have a gizmo like that, I don't. So, again, THANK YOU, Justin
Oh, yeah, people still think I am crazy, 65+ and removing popcorn, painting ceiling, repainting walls, new baseboards, and then flooring - 7-9 months weekend project, having a great time, building my biz during the week, YEHAAAA!!!
I hope I’m the same at 65. You are a awesome. Keep doing it.
The way you plastic to protect, smart. Watching you spray the popcorn is satisfying!

Good videos man. Very good. I can tell you’re very good at what you do.
Thank you. I have been in this trade for all my life.
THANK YOU Justin, just followed your suggestion, and did the hallway, and I will do the rest of the house in the same way, goes so much faster, Love it!!!
Thank you!! Glad it worked out for you. The pumped sprayers take forever and the water drys by the time you scrape.
Good job 👏
Thank you!
Hey bro, a couple questions. Been remodeling to sell my home. Many water issues thru the years so numerous patching has been done not blending too well. Worst spot happens to be over 8’ breakfast bar that borders dining room. Thinking creating rectangular box configuration covering above BB into dining room 3’ with couple hanging light pendants. Or make it cover whole dining room area so being 8’x8’ish leaving a couple feet around perimeter with popcorn still on it. Options could be 2x2 tiles or happen to have plenty 1/4” 4”x96”cedar planks that could paint. Would you pin nail right onto ceiling or fur in a small raised lid attaching them to it. Dining light would be centered. It’s a boob light that shows really shines onto ceiling amplifying imperfections beIng main reaso; doing this. Or could rent hopper and shoot layer blending things the repaint and call it a day what do ya think resale and simplicity?
How long (typically) between application of the water and the test scraping to see if more water is needed? Thanks, Justin!
Typically if you see that the ceiling isn’t wet anymore is usually a good sign. It all
Depends on the ceiling. Some ceilings are more thirsty then others so it takes more water.
@@finaltouchdrywall Thanks!
Same method for pop corn ceiling with asbestos?
NO! If it has asbestos, prime it and put a skim coat over it or hire professionals to remove. You do not want to put that stuff in the air. Asbestosis is a slow and painful way to die and as far as I know, it is a 100% death sentence.
