God sent down books, like Torah of Moses, Injeel of Jesus, the last book of Him is Quran. Muhammed is His last prophet. We believe in the angels, we believe in the Hereafter. We believe in Heaven and Hell. We believe in Free Will. We believe in Predestination and that everything that happens is written in the Book before human kind was created. Everything happens with the permission of God ( Allah ), be it good or evil. This is islam in short.

MashaAllah brother, making videos like this ar such a young age is truly inspiring, may you never stray away from the right path. About this topic, there are many that say its haram many say its not. I am not a scholar or anything, neither is my aim to raise this controversy up even more, but i do have some questions. Its just that music, like you said is everywhere. I just feel about an issue of this scale, shouldnt there be mentioned more in the quran like it was mentioned with alcohol and interest etc? (Not trying to question Allah, just trying to understand). And for example there is a lot of music that praise Allah and invoke feelings about Allah and could bring people closer to Allah. Isnt it wrong to say this is haram? When reading the Quran, the purpose is ofcourse not to read it like a music or a poem, but it is mustahab to beautify our voices which is done by adding melodies and certain maqamat to it (without the intention to make it like music). I mean all those things, i really feel like there should be more of a solid evidence for it to be Haram. Because ofcourse, in Islam, the standart ruling for everything is basically Halal if its not mentioned to be Haram. Jazakallahukhair

To be honest, I think most of the arguments in the music video were either (1) miracles performed by an all-powerful god, which would of course be possible if the god is all-powerful, (2) Taking metaphors and acting like they were literal, and (3) Just not reading the passage in context and being intellectually honest. This is done a lot by people who are not making an in-good-faith argument, and though I don't believe in Islam, I can see that this video is poorly made, and also made to ridicule the beliefs of a religious group. However, a lot of Muslims also use arguments like this against other religions. They claim to have read the Bible in its entirety and understand all of it, but then use verses out of context for their arguments and say that the words of the Bible aren't true simply because they contradict what the Quran says. I like how Jan handled this video, his response was well put-together, and though I don't agree with his faith, I can respect an intelligent guy.
