- In this video, i go over Why alcohol is haram, and why i think it should be haram, based on science and a bit of logical thought. I do go over a lot of science in this video, so please let me know if you'd like me to explain the science of other things in Islam, so we can simultaneously learn some science, and strengthen our faith with the knowledge that our sharia and sunnahs make complete sense, even to scientists.
To the fellow nerds out there, i apologise if i got any of the smaller scientific details inaccurate or completely wrong, I'm not a scientist, i only did GCSE triple science so far and i am studying A level biology and chemistry. Nevertheless, the basic message of the video still remains completely factual and accurate. No alcohol is better than alcohol.

Even as a non-muslim I have noticed the damage alcohol does. Even if one isn't a heavy drinker, ultimately they still choose to waste money on intoxicants, often people feel the need to drink at certain events when in reality they don't need to. I have chosen to avoid alcohol, and I will never drink for the rest of my life.

I have been learning spanish for about 2 years, i have decided that i will continue focusing solely on Spanish for the next year or so. once I've reached an intermediate level of Spanish (B1-B2) ill move onto arabic, which ill probably spend years studying to fluency while also probably freshening up my spanish

Allah says in 5:90 intoxicants are the work of Satan but he forgot the human body he made naturally creates intoxicants.
An intoxican (i.e خمر) in islam is anything that disturbes your minds ability to think or judge
Because alcohol exists (with very very small doses) in a lot of halal fruits like oranges but it isn't haram because it doesn't disturb your conciousness or mind
The word alcohol is actually never mentioned in the quran or hadeeths its always said (خمر-خمور) i.e substances wich disturn your mind
Alcohol-meth-drugs etc. Are all haram
+they would be considered haram anyways as anything that harms you is haram for you to use and that includes cigarettes

It really reflects the modern day today. So many people nowadays, especially in the west, reject God. They do haram things unknowingly, thinking theyre in the right. Such as pushing for children to learn about lgbtq in school, drinking alcohol and taking drugs, ect, ect. Its really sad because these people think theyre in the right, they also think "If god exists, im going to heaven because all you have to do to go to heaven is be a good person". This mentality makes no sense. How can you know what a good person is if you dont believe in God given rules? How your parents raise you? Society? Your own morals? Some parents are EVIL, society as a whole can be evil (e.g. The west), Some people's morals are extremely swayed. Al Capone Though he was moral, he thought he was doing the right thing. So did pablo escobar. These are extreme examples but it goes to show that you can ONLY fully rely on God to tell you whats right and wrong

Alcohol is allowed (you can take an intoxicant):
"And from the fruits of the palm trees and grapevines you take intoxicant and good provision. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who reason." Quran 16:67
Alcohol is not allowed (satan's handiwork):
"O believers! Intoxicants, gambling, idols, and drawing lots for decisions1 are all evil of Satan’s handiwork. So shun them so you may be successful." Quran 5:90
the first is simply a commentary on the fact that you can make grapes or other fruits into intoxicants or into juice (Good provision).
Objectively, people do both. from the fruits of palm trees and grape vines, people take intoxicants by fermantation, and they take "Good provision", which in other translations is translated as "Wholesome food". Not a contradiction, simply a misunderstanding on your part.
If this was a true contradiction, there wouldn't be 2 billion Muslims, and there would be much more attacks on Islam similar to this. But there simply isn't because there aren't contradictions.

@@townsmanmacher3880 The thing is you are coming at this from a biased perspective. Remember, the quran is originally arabic, a language that is very far from english so it is hard to translate. The translation which you found does sound like its allowing you to drink alcohol, but if you look at the other translations you'll find a pattern. Although they're all phrased differently, when you put them together it beings to make more sense and you begin to understand the original meaning a bit more.
Here are a few translations of this verse:
"And from the fruits of palm trees and grapevines you derive intoxicants as well as wholesome provision. Surely in this is a sign for those who understand."
"And from the fruits of the palm trees and grapevines you take intoxicant and good provision. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who reason."
"And from the fruits of palm trees and grapevines you derive intoxicants as well as wholesome provision. Surely in this is a sign for those who understand."
"And out of the fruits of date-palms and grapes you derive intoxicants as well as wholesome sustenance. Surely there is a sign for those who use reason."
I could give you many more. But here are 3 translations of the same verse. i will break it down for you.
The verse begins in the second person,
adressing the reader(s). It is also a statement, which acknowledges the fact that people derive intoxicans AND (Food/sustenence/provision). With an adjective in front of this noun, which means "wholesome" or "Good"
-The reason i used 3 different words in brackets is because arabic words can have several meanings in English which can mean the same thing in different contexts. The gist is that this word refers to things that people consume, such as juice, fruits, jam or zamzam
The verse then ends with a statement which tells the reader(s) that the previous statement is a sign for people who arent closed minded or illogical, like it appears that you are.
The reason Allah is adressing the fact that people take both intoxicants and sustenece from fruits is as a commentary and to make people consider what they do, and to make people understand that in halal things there is both good and bad depending on what you do with it. The same with a knife. One could use it to cut vegetables, the other could use it to kill.
We are already aware about what happened when a Muslim got mad at 9/11. That is why it is haram.
So how come is homers odyssey not worship like the Quran? It was written way before the f**king Quran was! 😂😂😂
