I go over why we have issues with Neo-Darwinism, particularly the idea of "Random Mutations" in the DNA, Why we believe that Adam and Eve are compatible with Science, And also a few criticisms of Intelligent Design as an argument for the existence of Allah.

[Musa (Moses)] said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright."
50. He said, “Our Lord is He who gave everything its existence, then guided it.”
Moses replied, "Our Lord is He *22 - Who has given a distinctive form to everything and then guided it aright. "
Ar-Raḥmān 14
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery
English - سورة غافر : عدد الآيات 85
﴿ هُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٖ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطۡفَةٖ ثُمَّ مِنۡ عَلَقَةٖ ثُمَّ يُخۡرِجُكُمۡ طِفۡلٗا ثُمَّ لِتَبۡلُغُوٓاْ أَشُدَّكُمۡ ثُمَّ لِتَكُونُواْ شُيُوخٗاۚ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَلِتَبۡلُغُوٓاْ أَجَلٗا مُّسَمّٗى وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ ﴾

He, it is Who has created you (Adam) from dust, then from a Nutfah [mixed semen drops of male and female discharge (i.e. Adam's offspring)] then from a clot (a piece of coagulated blood), then brings you forth as children, then (makes you grow) to reach the age of full strength, and afterwards to be old (men and women), though some among you die before, and that you reach an appointed term, in order that you may understand.
It is He who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as a child; then [He develops you] that you reach your [time of] maturity, then [further] that you become elders. And among you is he who is taken in death before [that], so that you reach a specified term; and perhaps you will use reason.

the Genetic Make up of Adam phub and Eve is Different , when our mother gave birth she gave birth to twins , now the the twins from the same delivery were not allowed to get married

Verse 2 from surah Al-Furqan
﴿الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَقَدَّرَهُ تَقْدِيرًا﴾
[ الفرقان: 2]
English - Sahih International
He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination.
He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Who has begotten no son and for Whom there is no partner in the dominion. He has created everything, and has measured it exactly according to its due measurements.
Chapter (17) sūrat l-isrā (The Night Journey)
Sahih International: And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference.
Pickthall: Verily we have honoured the Children of Adam. We carry them on the land and the sea, and have made provision of good things for them, and have preferred them above many of those whom We created with a marked preferment.
Yusuf Ali: We have honoured the sons of Adam; provided them with transport on land and sea; given them for sustenance things good and pure; and conferred on them special favours, above a great part of our creation.

Unfortunately, people like you, don't even know that Theory of Evolution doesn't contradict with Islamic theology. In humans evolution, we believe in a story branch which linked to both science and theologic facts, you believe in another branch with linked to only science and scientific assumptions. You fill spaces with your assumptions, we fill spaces with our theology, for evolution of humans. I guess, thats enough. By the way, in Quran not in philosophy of muslims, God himself wanted us to discover and research about creations of animals, etc. It was already there but muslims didn't do that, Charles Darwin did. Philosophy of science and epistemology (philosophy about how we can know) is typically not discussed in science class because science classes are primarily about how to gather the evidence and evaluate the evidence. They don’t even teach you how to come up with hypotheses properly, in my experience… or rather they assume that hypotheses come from the prior evidence only, but they can actually come from your philosophy about metaphysics and so on.

Somehow there is not even a single evidence in the universe for things like multiverses, strings etc. They see that as a scientific assumption in String Theory which is not scientific but totally philosophical and theoretical. My whole life i grew up Muslim, and I had lost my belief by smoking weed all the time and did not have a way in life, and was very unhappy with everything in my life. Once I accepted my religion back i have been slowly growing more and more at peace with life with myself and remembering all the teachings i was privilaged enough to grow up with. A lot of the times i pushed it all away, whether because i was ashamed of it or felt too much guilt to think about it. Your videos are such a breath of fresh air. I feel like a revert learning about islam eventhough i lived with it my whole life. Thank you so much for all your videos. I love that you bring in a western view to Islam and explain them all in your perspective. I grew up turkish in romania studying in an international school hence had the privilage to know and speak english at a native level. A lot of the times i feel confused about where i belong and how to approach islam and the general language and teminology because as a kid though i was taught it i never cared to learn it properly. This is just a very long thank you.

You should pay more attention to biology and actually read the quran without anyone telling you how you are supposed to understand it and twisting its content. Read 3: 59, 15: 26, 17: 71, 38 :71, 55: 14 and ask yourself whether if there was evolution, would the quran desceribe things like this?

Nobody says evolution is not true. It’s that evolution does not disprove God. Especially the fact that we have Hadiths form the prophet saying that during the end times there will be lots of trials and for a that holding on to religion will be like holding onto hot coal. And especially the fact that the the purpose Allah created the earth was all just for testing mankind and jinn. The earth has no other purpose. So I’m guessing Allah created the heavens and earth in 6 periods and not instantly so that when we in the future would discover these we would be challenged with trials same with evolution. As for whether Allah used evolution or not I don’t really know but one think I do know is that after studying Islam and the Quran academically it would be stupid for me to say it was not from Allah. Even when something is explained by science, it doesn't rule out the possibility that God was involved in its creation. This is a testament to God's existence and His intention to create systems that behave in a certain, predictable way, rather than randomly.
It's not feasible for a system to be created or generated randomly and consistently work in the same way. There are many things in the world that are unique and behave according to their own systems. However, these systems are interconnected, showing that they are part of a larger, complex system.
In essence, the existence of such systems and the predictable nature of their behavior suggest the presence of a higher power or intelligence, often referred to as God.
Even the most intelligent creatures on this planet cannot create something perfect. There will always be bugs or unexpected behaviors.
I think that people who pit religion against science miss a lot on both sides. I have talked to friends on both sides of the false dichotomy, some of them atheists who say that science disproves religion, and others hardcore Christians or even fellow Muslims who say that science is false. I like to bring up the example of two people looking at the mona lisa and one of them says "it was painted by DaVinci" and the other one says "no, it was obviously painted by a paintbrush with this type of paint".
They claim that knowledge of how things work and how things originated disproves the existence of a creator.
There are no systems only your perceptions of them. Nothing happens the same way twice. Ever. Humans are just capable of recognizing patterns. They can detect stimuli multiple times and learn to expect certain outcomes. There is no system that was made by a creator it’s just your brain’s ability to recognize patterns.
Agreeing with your point, our brain's pattern recognition indeed plays a critical role in our understanding of systems. However, the existence of a consistent pattern leading to a predictable outcome suggests the presence of a system. For instance, our nervous system consistently reacts to heat, signaling pain to protect us from harm. This is a system that operates without our conscious design or awareness. Therefore, while our perception of systems may initially depend on recognizing patterns, the consistent repetition of a pattern also signifies the presence of a system, regardless of our awareness .@@crustykeycap5670
Actually it does rule it out cause there's no proof God is the one whose causing the evolution. Not in the Quran, not in Science, theistic evolution is a man made concept.

The existence of a Superior Intelligence behind universe and its content is very well justified, there are solid arguments for it. And many scientists, including some of the greatest, have the deep conviction of it (the best example is Albert Einstein)
The question if whether there is a Superior Intelligence behind universe and its content is a question that science cannot solve/answer; we call such questions "metaphysical questions". For such metaphysical questions a certain/definitive answer cannot exist
Man, I am SO happy I discovered your channel.
As a new revert, I asked myself a lot of these questions and I find that my born muslim friends are unable to answer them (that’s not a criticism btw I admire their blind faith) but my flaw is that I question things a lot but I pray to Allah SWT that some things be made clear for me (although I accept that some things I will never know).
This point was probably the thing that I questioned the most , and now it makes sense to me, so thank you for making this.

Amazing work, this is a perspective ive never heard before, great job in disseminating it. I've struggled with reconciling what I've learned studying evolution and what ive been taught islam says about it and that it rejects it, but I always thought that there had to be a missing perspective in the mainstream discourse that explains the contradiction. The word "ayyam" means days
Why did the book you quoted say it means epoch?
If we go by this meaning then in verse 41 sura 3 :
He said, "My Lord, make for me a sign." He said, "Your sign is that you will not [be able to] speak to the people for three days except by gesture. And remember your Lord much and exalt [Him with praise] in the evening and the morning."
So in this verse the word "ayyam" is used to describe how a sign was made for Zakaria that he will not speak to the people for 3 days.
By the logic of the writer of the book you quoted then Zakaria didn't speak for three epochs...
This proves that the book you quoted was written by someone who 1st submitted that the atheistic claims about creation were true, Then 2nd he reinterpreted the word of the Quran to fit the "scientific" paradigm. When in reality these claims about big bang or creation time or evolution are not science but rather a decepetion.
This is why we should be careful where we take knowledge from.
Also read sura 41 verses 9-12.

I see your point about being cautious with the idea of intelligent design. There's an interesting concept in philosophy known as the anthropic principle. It essentially says that conscious beings will only ever experience a reality that supports their existence. In other words, if you're a conscious being, it's natural that you find yourself in a universe - or a specific part of it - where life is possible.
An atheist could present a compelling argument against the concept of intelligent design by proposing a different hypothesis: envision an impersonal, unconscious force akin to the fabric of spacetime, which endlessly creates a myriad of universes. In this conceptual framework, much like the Library of Babel holds every conceivable and inconceivable arrangement of text, the cosmic force indiscriminately creates universes in every conceivable configuration. At the quantum level, where probabilities rule without clear causation, this concept aligns well with our current scientific understanding.
In this seemingly infinite array of universes, each with its own unique set of physical laws and conditions, the sheer scale implies that some universes will, by sheer chance, possess the right conditions for life to emerge. It's not a matter of deliberate design, but rather a natural outcome of vast numbers and random variation.
Consequently, as beings capable of conscious thought and observation, it's only logical that we would find ourselves in one of these rare universes or specific planets where conditions are conducive to our existence and survival.
I love this point, however it relies on the existence of many universes, rather than just 1. At the moment this is impossible to prove or to falsify, so i would prefer to approach the existance of God from another angle, such as the miracles of the Quran and Sunnah or the Contingency argument

I had a quick look at some of his work and it appears that he is a creationist. I should have mentioned in the video that i do not want to say that Adamic exceptionalism and Human exceptionalism are 100% fact, there is obviously no way to prove it, I'm simply highlighting its compatibility with science, theology and Islam. I have a large amount of respect to creationists and i agree with Many of their points. If i had a closer look at Dr. Eyad Qunaibi's work, I'd probably be confident in believing in it, as it seems like it does have its merits.
I also refrained from mentioning creationism because its quite difficult for Non-Muslims to understand it, i feel like its quite a gimmicky topic to talk about in general too.

Unfortunately the idea that we can scientifically support the conclusion of a creator is a lie. The entire premise is currently unfalsifiable and thus unscientific. That doesn't mean your God doesn't exist, or that creation didn't happen. It just means we cannot test for a God with science. It's literally the wrong tool for the job. It would be like trying to measure the length of the US Coastline with a measuring spoon.
It's very interesting to me that even though I did no prior research on Islam and evolution. I found myself holding several of the views you discussed here as an explanation for evolution becoming a scientific "fact" and how it falls under our religion. Thank you for this video🤍🤍

Okay no a lot of this is very wrong. Although many scientists disagree with evolution so do some with climate change. Just because they exist does not mean that they hold valid claims. Perhaps critiques but not claims. Second, evolution happens through selective pressures that lead to variable outcomes through other mechanisms like recombination of the sister chromatids, and crossings over with can lead to mutations. These mutations are strictly random since there is no point to them. The only time a species is able to evolve is through those pressures that lead to some surviving and outlasting on another. We can measure the rate at which some species have change but this doesn’t lead to the idea that it was miraculous, epistemic. If you want a better example; our immune system also has hyper mutations that help fight diseases. That being said it happens quite literally by breaking apart dna and fixing in immune cells. This is literally random. There is no way how to predict the outcomes of the B cells once they change and change again

I have some inconsistencies regarding your statements
1). 1:22 , if that word means epoch why everyone untill this century considered that as "day" and if even so, why you contributing that epochs table from researchgate, you could just citate more popular encyclopedia like britanica or wikipedia. I found in other publications that universe formation consists of 2 eras 1) The Radiation Era 2) The Matter Era and it's epochs. Radiation era:
I. Planck Epoch :- No matter existed in the universe at this time. In Planck Epoch only energy existed and at the end of this stage gravity splits away from super force.
II. Grand Unification Epoch :- This Epoch was named for the three remaining force of nature (Strong nuclear, Weak, Electromagnetic). At end of this stage, strong nuclear force broke away.
III. Inflationary Epoch :- During this stage universe started rapidly expanding. The universe was piping hot and it churned with electrons, quarks and other particles.
IV. Electroweak :- Electromagnetic and weak forces split off during this stage.
V. Quark Epoch:- In Quark Epoch all universe ingredient were present. Universe was too hot and dense which forms sub-atomic particles.
VI. Hadron Epoch :- In Hadron Epoch temperature of universe started decreasing. Universe cool down enough for quark to bind and form protons and neutrons.
VII. Lepton Epoch :- Electron, Muon, Tau like elementary particles called lepton particles. In this stage, universe dominated with lepton particles, so this stage is called Lepton Epoch.
VIII. Nuclear Epoch :- In this stage, nuclear reaction started occurring. This nuclear reaction lead to formation of first chemical element Helium.

They actually Does not deny evolution. A lot of new data has been accumulated. A “third evolutionary synthesis” is happening right now and it is expanding Syntetic Theory of Evolution rather than rejecting it.

You need to know the difference between scientific fact and a theory. Darwinian Evolution theory in reality is a pseudo science which is based on circular reasoning.

He, it is Who has created you (Adam) from dust, then from a Nutfah [mixed semen drops of male and female discharge (i.e. Adam's offspring)] then from a clot (a piece of coagulated blood), then brings you forth as children, then (makes you grow) to reach the age of full strength, and afterwards to be old (men and women), though some among you die before, and that you reach an appointed term, in order that you may understand.
It is He who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as a child; then [He develops you] that you reach your [time of] maturity, then [further] that you become elders. And among you is he who is taken in death before [that], so that you reach a specified term; and perhaps you will use reason.

the Genetic Make up of Adam phub and Eve is Different , when our mother gave birth she gave birth to twins , now the the twins from the same delivery were not allowed to get married
