- In this video, i go over 23 relatively common criticisms of the Quran, and i thoroughly explain them all, some with several valid interpretations. I also explain a lot of backstory and miracles of the Quran, so Inshallah you will learn a lot from this video.
All of these come from one video in particular by Sye ten and The Rationaliser, called "The Sound Of Muslims", hence the thumbnail.

Slavery and music being talked about is cool and all, but what about the pedophilia? Make a video discussing that please, it will either help strengthen your faith and the faith of all your viewers or do the opposite. Either way, it's a very important topic to look at imo.

The main problem with many western critics trying to “debunk” Islam is that they are completely unfamiliar with the eastern ways of speaking. The language and the wit of the speech of the east differs greatly from those of the west.
Correct. A friend of mine is half Brittish and she lives in Southeast Asia, she was having some issues with our language flipping the order of words in some sentences when translated from english

There is something I see alot of people do to translate the Qur’an words to another language which is wrong you can't translate the word because arabic have more words and phrases then English or most of the languages so you can't translate it that would change the meaning so just translate what the verse mean

SyeTen is the type of person that would think that a "small town" is a literal ant-sized town with ant-sized buildings instead of an actual town that has a small enough land area and population; A "remote village" is a village full of remote controllers instead of a village that is located in a rural area; The "Silk Road" as a road that is literally made out of silk; The music genre "rock and roll" as a music genre that only uses rolling rocks as the instrument; The "stock market" as a market that sells chicken or vegetable stocks; etc.

I think he and The Rationalizer don't actually know what a metaphor is. A lot of these verses are clearly just using metaphors, such as the Earth being a bed. We often use these in modern English too, such as "lend me a hand" or "pulling my leg". We even say things like "the sun is setting on the horizon" and "moonlight" (the sun isn't on the Earth and the Moon just reflects the Sun's light). Even long before I became Muslim, I could've realised this easily.

Not only for this, in many topics, the basic theology is to be argued against, not the things that derive from it. The Hell-fire of Hell complained to its Lord saying: O Lord! My parts are eating (destroying) one another. So Allah allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in the summer. The breath in the summer is at the time when you feel the severest heat and the breath in the winter is at the time when you feel the severest cold."
So heat during zuhr is because hellfire is raging underneath and summer heat and winter on earth are not because the earth is tilted and other factors, it's because hellfire was granted two breaths.
Of course Muhammad in the 7th century didn't know that the earth revolved around the sun, the earth had two poles and that it was tilted and other scientific facts.
This is just one of the hundreds of unscientific stuffs in islam.

Facts collected from this verse:
-gospels are the word of god
-whoever does not judge by the gospels are rebels to god
The confusion I have:
-the quran says to follow the gospels but the gospels say the quran is anathema. this means the gospels must be corrupted, to uphold the truth of the quran. so gods word was corrupted, either by being overpowered in the face of man, (pagan,) or he allowed the gospels to be corrupted so wholly and completely for some divine, humanly incoherent reason. But doesn't the latter proposal lead to the question of the qurans infallibility?
-If the quran is the infallible, (never failing; always effective), verbatim word of god, then everything in it should apply to today. why then does this passage all of a sudden not apply anymore? To say that the gospels are not true today is to say that the quran is indeed fallible, and it's contents' meanings have changed in message or value since the original writing.
-The only way to refute this, is to say that the gospels agree with the quran. Now this is just basally incorrect while maintaining intellectual honesty. Heck, the quran says it wasnt even jesus on the cross.
In conclusion, I don't see any coherent functionality in the workings of this logic in the quran, hence my dilemma. Thanks for your time.
@@AkiYoko-ex8qv Here’s an explanation. The aya says that the people of the gospel ( AT THE TIME ) should follow what god said in the book. Since the Quran was revealed in parts and not all at once, it told the people at the time of Muhammad about the people of the real gospel ( time of Jesus) ( before Muhammad ) about what they should follow to enter heaven. The original gospel that was revealed was in Aramaic since that is what they spoke at the time meaning it had to be translated by foreigners to understand, but that’s when the corruption occurred creating the Bible with contradictions with the trinity as well as eye witness inconsistency. But the Aramaic bible was sent before the Quran, yet still had gods commands. Meaning if the people followed the gospel at that time, and believed that Jesus was a prophet of god, then they were allowed in heaven. Remember most these “suras” are written with context to guide Mohammed and the people. It was revealed as an informative piece of info for the people. The Quran is used as a guide to live as well as a history book. Without this we would have assumed that people before Muhammad weren’t allowed into heaven. 👍 hope this helped. He visited Prophet Muhammad and embraced Islam. He sent letters with Malik ibn Dinar to his relatives in India asking them to be courteous to the letter. His resting place is in Salalah, Oman. First Masjid/Mosque in India was built in AD 629 by Malik Dinar and named Cheraman Masjid.

On the topic of the moon splitting, there is an account from a king in India seeing it, and becoming Muslim years later when he met Muslim travellers who explained it to him. It's a known historical document kept in Britain if I remember correctly.

Regarding the semen from between back bones and ribs in 24:10, I was quite amazed while studying embryology in medical school, you have to check the embryonic origin of testicles, which is where semen form basically, it actually forms besides the kidneys then descend later to the scrotum with its blood vessels taken from aorta mid abdomen! I'm a doctor, I read this verse in surah at Tariq when I was in medical school and this cemented my belief in Islam.
The verse (43:10) uses the word (لكم) "for you" - meaning the earth has been spread out 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶, remarking Allah's (ﷻ) favor upon the humans by bestowing them with an evenly spread-out land conducive to human interests, such as building, grazing, travelling, resting etc. So, it is relative to the human experience, rather than absolute in meaning. Such an interpretation is found in earlier works of Tafsīr as well.
2nd the word word Dahaha means Ostretch egg. The word came from Dayha meaning spread out. The Arabian Ostretch's egg was the only egg available to the arabian peninsula. So Allah (SWT) gave examples of that to fit the understanding of Moral Man. Furthermore The Ostretch spread the sand to lay its eggs. And if you look at the earth it is very much an Oblate spheriod closely resembling an Ostretch Egg which is oval. And well The earth is stretched out and the Ostretch egg as well. Dayha is also used for stretching or stretched. In other places Earth is either talked to be expansive (I.E big Huge) and in some cases Spread is there to make sense. Like: And He made the earth like a carpet [Spread out] for you to lay upon and find the correct path. I might have butchered the Ayat but its from memory. Anyway the the word Spread Out is not exactly there.

I am an arabic muslim, and as a native arabic speaker i would like to say that even a native speaker will have to do some searching to get the best understanding of the verses, we need to go through the Hadith and Tafsir to get the best understanding of the verses, the Quran is easy to remember not easy to understand, another point, Allah gives us more Ajr for تدبر wich means understanding and thinking when reading quran than just reading, so do more searching and get better understanding to get more and more ajr, may allah guide we and you to the right way, جزاك الله خيرا.

The breath in the summer is at the time when you feel the severest heat and the breath in the winter is at the time when you feel the severest cold."
So heat during zuhr is because hellfire is raging underneath and summer heat and winter on earth are not because the earth is tilted and other factors, it's because hellfire was granted two breaths.
Of course Muhammad in the 7th century didn't know that the earth revolved around the sun, the earth had two poles and that it was tilted and other scientific facts.
This is just one of the hundreds of unscientific stuffs in islam.

You are worshipping something other than Him, and Him alone. Shirk is the most detrimental sin in Islam, and if you pass away before repenting for this sin, it is generally believed that you would not enter Heaven. Any sin can be forgiven if repentance has occurred.
With all that said, no one can enter Heaven or Hell except through the mercy and will of Allah, even a once good practicing Muslim.

Guys I just wana highlight something, before I do , I acknowledge the hard work and well knowledge of this boy, however being 16 years old with this amount of knowledge is not that hard. This is literally doesn’t even go more than basics of Islamic knowledge that we all should have regardless of age. The problem is that people don’t read enough or search and invest more in learning about their religion. As an advice take some time everyday even for 15 mins to learn in Islamic sciences, and aim to educate yourself and your kids as well. So we will have more boys and girls who are like this good guy.

The Hell-fire of Hell complained to its Lord saying: O Lord! My parts are eating (destroying) one another. So Allah allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in the summer. The breath in the summer is at the time when you feel the severest heat and the breath in the winter is at the time when you feel the severest cold."
So heat during zuhr is because hellfire is raging underneath and summer heat and winter on earth are not because the earth is tilted and other factors, it's because hellfire was granted two breaths.
Of course Muhammad in the 7th century didn't know that the earth revolved around the sun, the earth had two poles and that it was tilted and other scientific facts.
This is just one of the hundreds of unscientific stuffs in islam.

2nd I took a bachelor's degree in Islamic Sharia and I know that most of the suspicions that are raised are old and were answered several hundred years ago, but in the last hundred years or so, the situation has changed from Logical doubts to “sensual” doubts, meaning (if I do not see something happening, then I do not believe in it.) This, in my opinion, is the weakest type of suspicion that has been raised against Islam, but the problem is in its popularity.

In fact, the majority of those who attack the Qur’an they're reading the Qur’an in their native language and not in the Arabic language, which is the language of the Qur’an. Allah himself said:

Allah chose this language because it can carry meanings that are difficult to have in any other language. If Allah wanted to make the Qur’an in French, for example, do they think that He cannot?!! The issue is much deeper than this. If they knew, the Arabic language actually contains lots of vocabulary that's difficult to translate accurately into those languages. If they were actually speaking objectively and not just attacking, if they really wanted to know about religion, they would have researched more than that, because all the evidence they find indicates the superficiality of the research and that they are only doing this for controversy.
