If I can get trek alr4 disc used for same price as contend sl2, which one should I get ?

My 1990 version was awesome. The looks of the other guys when i showed up with it at races in Germany priceless. They called it the oven tube bike. But it was stiff and light and absolute rocket.

I love Ultegra 6600, I have it installed on my pinarello FP3 Onda. Shifting is so crisp & 100% perfect. Mine is like new, no scratches or damage & I also have the wheelset 6700 has done under 100 miles like new. Great Video 👍

Love your love for vintage C'dales and race a CAAD 10 myself in preference to my carbon bikes. Got to pull you up though on the wheels, Open 4CD are clincher rims - the joint best rim back in their day along with Campy Omega Hardox.

I have been riding 6600 groupset on a colnago master for 20 yrs w the same brake cable. Lasts cold forged crankset shixmano made. I also just bought cassettes, chainrings and chains so i can ride it 20 more yrs.

What is size the Seatposts?

Is 2x10 11-42 was better tha 2x11 11-42t is 10 speed shimano 2x10 speed was enough?

I have an r500. Love it group set shimano rx100. What ever that is? It's just like you say smooth ,crisp easy to adjust anything on the fly...

I have Dura Ace 2X10 on my 2007 Felt F2 and it’s phenomenal. The shifts are clean, crisp and fast….absolutely love it. It’s so quiet that I often have to look down to see if it even shifted when the gears are close.

Weird, I always thought RL stands for Remote Lock, so you can set it on your handle bar instead of leaning towards switch on a fork.

TK means Turn Key. RL means Remote Lock.

Does it have any sort of warrantee?

Is the front wheel removable?

Don’t ride a supercal (I ride a scalpel) but the whole thing with the weird shock is not only to save weight but to keep the pedal strokes more efficient so it can almost “pedal like a hardtail”

I’ve got a ‘85-‘86 model Cannondale CAD3 that I just can’t part with….Shimano 105 with 8 speed cassette. I found it thrown out in the trash completely intact but dirty and neglected….amazing bike.

I'm building a group for my recumbent that I put my camping gear on. I like the M6000 shifters but the crank that comes with it is too small. I'd rather get my low gears from the back. Can I pair this set with a larger crank? I think the one that comes with it is a 22 30 40. I could go 2x with a 50 40 if they even make it. Or should I just build my own crankset? I'm not trying to break any speed records but I stay in high gears most of the time and want to be able to drop low for climbing hills.

Bro obviously doesn’t know about frame flex. Trek made that feature specifically to replace the lack of a linkage. I ride a 9.8 xt and it is not as “rough” as he claims it to be. And plus not ALL Supercalibers are $11,000. The 9.8s are $6500-$7000

You will not find an aero bike as long as you keep looking at the popular expensive brands, get your head out of the rear and you will find them.

I think they made a big mistake by not giving it at least 100 mm of travel. It isn't that light at all. However I want that bike it'd be perfect for my trails here in my area

What are you talking about? Supercaliber is the bike used by athletes who won multiple World Cup championships and XCOs... No doubt that top-notch specs are expensive, but they cost roughly the same as what you can get buying ultimate specs from well-known brands. For casual riders, you can the SAME Supercaliber frame with entry+ level spec - NX groupset, MT500 brakes, and Reba suspension fork that in total give $ 4500-5000.

Looks so much nicer than modern groupsets (and is probably much lighter too). I’ve recently had a 2nd hand version of that rear derailleur put on my old Tiagra equipped bike (tension had gone in the old derailleur). Matches the silver aesthetic I have on the rest of the groupset too (modern groupsets are all black). Gear changes are smoother now, even with the old Tiagra shifters.

I have a giant contend ar, and maxxis ravager 700*40 fit into this frame, which in fact became 700*43 on my wheelset), there were 4-5 millimeters of clearance left, this is a custom bike and its weight was 9.2kilo
