@@e-sickbiker14 Yes! Bought the 105 version. Good value, albeit the wheels could do with an upgrade sometime in the future. But I am very impressed with the bike. It also looks beautiful!
I’ve been ringing the Ultegra Rx version since last week, it’s really great! Suspension does amazing work on gravel, but on road it’s quick and responsive. Impressive bike!
I think all of them are cool and interesting in their own ways. You made an interesting point about the future shock compared to the rear flexing of the topstone. It does make sense in theory to have that suspension of sorts on the rear because you don’t absorb the bumps there like you do with your arms. I do think some form suspension will be on all bikes in the future for a couple of reasons. Comfort will be of greater concern, and the tech will be there to make suspended road bikes faster than non-suspended without making them too heavy. I’m pretty confident that’s where it’s going to go.
Funny what you said about the specialized with handle bar suspension but true.. my elbows and shoulders will get an upgrade 2020 so they have 120mm travel 😁😁
I just found the *Boardman adv 8.9e* 16kg electric gravel bike. I've also just bought the Redshift shockstop stem and pre-ordered their shockstop seat post.
Hey, I wrote a blog article about 23 gravel bikes under $1000, I hope it helps! cycletraveloverload.com/23-best-gravel-bikes-under-1000-budget-gravel-bikes/
Why have a lefty as a fork on a cross/gravel bike... I thought that Cannondale still had a headshock for some of its touring bikes. Perfect solution for a cross/gravel bike, just do the lower legs in carbon and you have the perfect solution.. I also remember, I think it was Cannondale that they had a road bike with a low travel head shock.. To me it seems the marketing is more of a deciding factor than engineering these days as Cannondale already have the perfect solution to a cross/gravel bike with suspension.
I just bought a Topstone and my first impressions are that it is a beautifully balanced, fast but comfortable bike
Hi Peter. Did you buy the carbon one?

Very excited for the new slate 2021. Maybe with kingpin rear, lefty ocho fork and 1x12 gearing.
I will they will discontinue the one, but we will see ;)
I hope you do a 2020 xc bike comparisons in the near future.
I agree, the Topstone is probably the best option. What's your opinion on the Redshift ShockStop stem?
I like Open U. P. P. E. R, Cervelo Aspero, 3T Exploro, GT Grade more.
we have same taste. kuddos
The Specialized Futureshock might be nice in combination with clip-on bars.
Throw that Lauf fork on the carbon Topstone and you've got a fully with zero maintenance!
GT Grade 2020, maintenance-free suspension and Trek’s Isospeed could have been mentioned.
GT Grade comes with today's video.

Take a look at GT grade and Canyon Grail

"Lauf" doesn't mean feather. It means to run or a race by food.
"Laufen" means "to run" in German. "Lauf" means "feather" in Icelandic. "To run" is "hlaupa" :) Iceland is my second home.
@@e-sickbiker14 thanks mate!
So basically you're just commenting on bikes and features that you've never ridden or even seen in person?
Isn't it awesome, haha. Also on an e-bike channel. Makes total sense.
He's finding good and unique bikes and giving his experienced opinion on them. What exactly are you adding to the conversion do you think?
