Just ordered the C62 Pro yesterday for $1490 out the door on a 25% off sale for the 2020 model. I'll ride it as is without upgrades for a while as it's already a huge upgrade from what I've been riding, a '00 Trek 8500 with rim brakes. Still love that old Trek though and I don't plan on getting rid of it.
Why do the new 1x mtb drive trains have such a tiny front chain ring though? I think it's the same size as the middle ring on my Trek, or maybe even smaller than that. Is there a way to fit a bigger ring in the front?
Not sure but I think a good way to shave about a kilo off the weight of that bike is to get lighter tires. The stock ones are pretty heavy according to the listed weight of the tires on Amazon. Kevlar XC tires can knock the weight down by half from the stock ones.

I have the 2020er reaction c:62 race 2x12 17“ with stamp 1 composite pedals on it
and the CUBE AIM SL 3x9 17“ 2018 (but now with RSx 30 Gold RL) with Cube Alu Pedals. I love my beasts. In near future I will lightly upgrade my AiM SL. Maybe to 2x11 xt, 72er flatbar and two-finger-brake levers. Use in Nuremberg and everywhere in the region of Middle Frankonia (Bavaria) for example Happurg lake, Brombach lake and Roth lake.
Along Main-Donau-Channels etc...
Am I correct that all bikes from the cheapest AIM(429€) to Reaction One (1199€) have exactly the same geometry?
It was hard to find the size chart is 21" made for 190+cm ?

Sir Is Cube Attention a mountain bike or not ? It has Rockshox XC30 coil front fork. Shopkeeper told me that that was a mountain bike is that true ?

Thanks for your video, I was undivided on going with Cube or Scot, but Cube seem to be decent for the price flexibility, I am using for Urban use, ( used to ride cheap hybrids ) but London roads are totally useless so many pot holes and poor tarmac. Unbelievable for a modern City. The weight increase is worth it when you consider how crap the roads are.
Which model did you end up deciding

For Racing you need versions with 2 chainrings in the front.

I got analog 2 weeks ago, it's great bike. Only objection I would have is xc30 coil fork, but you can't ask more for the money. I wish is was a bit more expensive and have recon air instead.
I just saw, Acid has recon air and nx eagle. That may be a better choice if it's inside the budget..

my dad bought me attention sl but fuck i would really want something more for trails and other stuff like with wider tires smaller tires more than 100mm of travel on fork for the same money i could have so much better bike
What's wrong with the Attention SL? It's a pretty solid bike. It's got the XC geometry though. If you want more of a trail bike, the Reaction TM is currently on sale at Chainreactioncycles for 25% off, or $973 US. But the Attention SL is a pretty good bike for what it's made for.
The thing about Cube is that they offer some good bang for the buck. Whatever your dad paid for it, at that particular price point you could do a lot worse.
@@madcapper6 i know it's good bike for xc but i wanted lime more of trail bike with full suspension and stuff like that. and my dad didn't payed the normal price because my uncle works in that bikeshop and he gave him 40% sale
@@sebo609 Is it too late to take it back? Or maybe sell it and put it towards the bike that you want. Is the bikeshop you're referring to Chainreactioncycles? If so, I'm sure you're aware of their Vitus Sentier and Nucleus lines with the highest end Nucleus and the lowest end Sentier being not far off at all from what you could get for your Cube on the used market, especially if your dad can swing another 40% off deal with your uncle on a new one.
I hope your dad's not too disappointed though that the bike isn't doing it for you. Good luck getting what you want.
@@madcapper6 No they can't take it back and my dad is not disapointed because i didn't tell him i don't like the bike. he is the type of dad that will start talking about how greatfull he will be for that bike when he was in my age so i will just let it go it is not exactly what i wanted but still good bike. @@shaunfitzgerald7264 As per my experience frame geometry is very compact, wheel base is bit narrower compare to other bike frame geometry. You may find the geometry gives you bit upright sitting position. Whats good about is that it has bit higher level component setup for the price compare to other brand bicycle. Climbing up is awesome but down hill made me bit scary due to its compact geometry what they call agile geometry.
