Yes, many of them are basically Spare Danes 😂 Half of our basic words in Danish ( + the very similar Norwegian and Swedish languages ) plus many grammatical elements are still surprisingly similar to their English counterparts because of this and the later Viking age migration, making English a fairly easy language for Scandinavians to learn. A few examples to astonish you: 😉 D Hvad skal vi [ve] give dem for deres [dair-es] fine [feen-e] sang [sAng] for os [us]? E What ( OE hwat! ) shall ( OE sceal!) we give them for their(s) fine song for os? D Kom her(e) [heir]! - lad os gå [go] ud [ooð] igen [ee-gain] nu [noo*] for at finde min [meen] fader [fað-er ! ] / broder [bro(u)ð-er ! ], så [sO] (th)at han kan se din |deen] lille nye [ne(w)-e] datter. E Come here! - let us go out out again now (for) to find my father / brother, so that he can see your (thine) little new daughter. D Vi [ve] ha(ve)r [hAr] så mange [mAng-e] ( many, OE monege!) af de "samme" simple (w)ord(s) i(n) [ee*] Dansk, så en Engelsk-tal(k)ende *} person kan ofte se deres [dair-es] mening efter just få [foa] sekunder - han kan derfor lær(n)e den Danske (OE dænisc !) tunge i(n) [ee*] en hast uden at tænke [taink-e] for ham [hAm] selv først [first] 😉 *) OE also had this "-ende" suffix before "-ing" came into use. E We [ve] have so many of the "same" simple words, so an English speaking ("talking") person can often see their meaning after just {a} few seconds - he can therefore learn the Danish tongue in a haste without ( OE be-utan, S utan ! ) (to) think-ing for him-self first 🙂 D Jeg [yigh] håber [ho-ber] (th)at alle disse [dees-se] linjer vil give dig [digh] en god ide om de mange nære [nair-e] (w)ord(s) i(n) Dansk og Engelsk - vi kan allerede tal(k)e halv - Engelsk fra(m) dag [daygh] ( OE dæg) en over her(e) i Danmark. E I hope that all these lines will give you ( thee, orig. thik! ) a good idea about the many close ("near") words in Danish and English - we can already speak (talk) half-English from day one over here in Denmark. Hav en god dag [daygh], mine [meen-e] Britiske frænd-er 🤗

The spread of Christianity is interesting on this island nation. Another large island nation is Madagascar. There was a queen around 1850 or so who was given the name of Bloody. She killed the missionaries from England because she was concerned they would try to take over the country. She was right. Of course it is important to note my wife is a descendent of the monarchy in Madagagascar.

No, Angel [Ang-el] or Angeln is actually a peninsula just South of the present (!) day Danish - German border in Southern Slesvig / Schleswig - facing the Baltic Sea towards the East. It is situated at the East coast of the most Southern part of the much larger Jutland peninsula.

An interesting video but given your accent it sounds like you may be English i.e. From the UK or GB or whatever you may consider it as. Therefore I invite you to check out Adelard of Bath who was the real person who spread awareness of "Arabic Numbers" plus a lot of other Arab enlightened scientific thought across the post 1066 William the Conqueror Europe of France and the UK. He travelled to the Arab world and spent 5 years learning to read and write in several languages. When he returned he became known as the "Go to Guy" to understand why some Nations and Cultures were so far ahead in all the Sciences. He was tutor to the English King and was exceptional in that he was a Monk who also believed in educating women who were generally excluded from any kind of advanced education. It was hundreds of years later before women were even allowed to study and get a Degree! He is largely unknown because he was not a Self-publicist" which we all know is the secret of being Famous for inventing anything.

Greatest mistake of modern historiography ist: (ancient) Germania=Modern Germania=Deutchland.. In ancient roman time Germania mean - Other barbaric tribes around Limes romanus in continental Europe.. Germania in ancient times be unkonquered or conquered SPACE not name of ONE tribe... One ancient autor write SLAVIC tribes be one biggest of Germanic tribes.. Suevi ist made by ear confused word, by antic writer , listen SLAVI and made Suevi = Slavi tribes.. Many many slavic world be confused in western, latin, modern germanic spaeks and after this words commeback in books like untranslatable words.. Made history more heavier to understand.. False history about Slavic or Tophographycreality in ancient time... Vandals be Slavic. Gemmer= in coin Gelimir = Želimir be south Slavic name. Hos grandfather born around Blaton lake...

In Tunisia and North Africa, from the Siwa Oasis to the Canary Islands, There is only the Amazigh They are divided into two types: free amazigh of indigenous origins who do not deny their origins, and Arabized amazigh who are ungrateful and ignorant of their origins and love to belong to the Arabs And for others in search of honorable lineage, not knowing that the most honorable lineage for them is their own lineage, the Amazigh, the pure North African, and the Amazigh is the origin and the soul, the enjoyment of Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya, and North Africa from the Siwa Oasis To the Canary Islands, genetically, according to the latest scientific research, such as National Geographic content, and the genetic analyzes found on CZcams and Facebook, and culturally, couscous, bronos, qashabia, cordon, bazin, tagine,Harissa, Tanit, and linguistically, the ancient Libyan language is the predecessor of the Amazigh language. The words Tunisia, Africa, Siliana, Sousse, Tataouine, Jendouba, and Tozeur are Amazigh words, and Amazigh is still present in our dialect as a word halluf And Fakroun, Shalghoum, Azarb, Sardouk, Couscous, and Bazin, and historically and culturally, even from the Carthaginians, Amazigh. A video by the American geneticist Spencer Wells, which you found on Tiktok. Rafik Kabia explains to you the genes of the Carthaginians, most of them Authentic local North African genes, meaning Amazigh, meaning indigenous North Africans, because the word amazigh “authentic” in the mother tongue of North Africa old lybians language The predecessor of the now Amazigh language and means a free and noble person, meaning that the Carthaginians are Amazighs, meaning the original Tunisians or Berbers Or the Lobies, there are many names. As for the same thing north African the same genetic culture the mother language, and the Carthaginian they are the amazigh who mixed with the rest of the Mediterranean, including the Phoenicians, the Hawitians, and everyone who came to North Africa, from the Siwa Oasis to the Canary Islands. The great Tamazgha was melted into the Amazigh language because It is our soul in all Cultural dimensions Please correct the history. There are many illogical fallacies It is not reasonable to attribute an entire civilization like Carthage to mere merchants who came from the East

A point often overlooked is the Celts that Julius Caesar dealt with were refugees from wars in Gaul. The population of eastern Britain may have been Germanic speakers who survived the disappearance of Doggerland under the North Sea. Also the North Sea is not a great barrier to migration. Also the Saxon-shore was name given both shores from Normandy/Isle of Wight to the Wash/Scheldt by the Romans.
