The O'rangers had their best finish of the week and ...................... technically went backwards, lol. That #4 finish includes almost doubling their point total and Mandarin is now staring at elimination. Ahlrightttyyyyyyy thennn. The orange's are getting squeezed folks. Someone needs to sit Slimelime down and discuss a strategy for thst vell carousel. He is ok up to that point then he just rushes in where angels fear to tread. I am seriously concerned this week.

Chocolatiers... I was really worried throughout most of this race as it didn't seem like Bonbon was doing enough to ensure a good finish, but out of nowhere they had an amazing run through the final section of this course and earned a podium finish! We're nowhere near safety yet, but that finish was definitely needed to get the Chocolatiers back in the game. At 1:56 Bonbon is back in 8th, but then an amazing burst of speed combined with masterful navigation of the bell carousel allowed them to make up 5 whole positions across the line! Excellent racing!

Spoiler barrier brought to you by the bean counters. Where things stand after today's race . . . . . . . . . . The magic number to auto-qualify is down to 55 points. Team Primary is now in complete control of it's own fate, a win tomorrow guarantees they move on, regardless of how everyone else finishes. Another way for them to qualify is to simply finish ahead of 2 teams currently placed 6-10; so expect the Primaries to qualify tomorrow. The Racers also have a chance to qualifying tomorrow. They would need a 8th place finish or better, AND 2 teams positioned 6-10 to DNF or be in the bottom 2 to cross the line. The Rockets and the Bees are also starting to get close to qualify, but they need a top 2 finish AND need the lowest of teams to have a really bad day to punch their ticket to the next round. Four teams stand just 2 points apart from the second team getting cut, a good day by any one of them will get them some much needed insurance as we're moving into the weekend push towards elimination.

Week 12, Day 4: early finally . . . . . . . Sea 6th (5th) - Oh my, what an ending there! Sea was just about stone dead last for the entire race, but an insane clutch at the bell carousel salvages a decent finish. I had certainly given up on decent points here at the halfway point but wow, it would take a miracle for any of these athletes to get through the bell carousel obstacle as quickly as Sea did today.
