The bottom 4 teams prior to this race really did great. Aryp won, Swax got second, Starry got 4th with Shock right behind her in 5th. None of these teams want to be eliminated!
But I'm afraid that if Starry doesn't beat Slimelime, Shock and Pinky Panther with ease, then she's out!
Starry needs 1st & 1 of those teams to DNF/ end poorly

Shock went from last at the start to being 1st for a small portion of the track, probably had the best run out of all of these

It's funny, that the points difference between places 5 and 6 is bigger than between places 6 and 14
I'm guessing Raspberry Racers should be green. Even though any of the marbles below can catch him (which seems like the criteria for not being green), they can't ALL catch him since they can't all get high points.
Actually I'm wrong... I calculated the chance of Raspberry Racers finishing last (1/18th) AND all the other marbles scoring enough to pass him are about 0.6%. If you add the chance of him finishing 2nd to last but everyone passing him it is still non-zero, and I haven't even accounted for tie-breakers, those are the odds he is outright dropped. So I don't know how Mellow Yellow can be lower than that.

I think Speedy deliberately sandbagged this race, to give more points to those lower so that fewer teams would be immune from elimination after this race. Very crafty...

I think they saw and learned from what happened to Mallard a few weeks ago. You can't go hard every race and expect to reach the end of this gauntlet.
Team Galactic needs a miracle, but it is too close to call who will be the other one eliminated.
Galactic is almost certainly out as if you figure most of the teams above them will get 5-6 points, they need a top three finish. :( The question is who else... could be any of the bottom 10. This has been a rough week for the lighter marbles.
It's going to be a tense race tomorrow - a lot of teams aren't out of danger.
Yeah. Some have only specific scenarios to get eliminated like being last and X teams getting first, but it’s still a wide swath that’s not safe.
Man, I’m so glad to see Speedy just take it easy as can be after clinching that spot yesterday. We’ve seen too many teams wear themselves out fighting to end on the podium at the end of the week, just to struggle and get eliminated the next week. Speedy is a true veteran who knows exactly when to do what needs to be done, and when to conserve energy.

Rezzy has been running a smart strategy so far just nursing that gearbox. I expect he'll start pushing in a couple of weeks.
I really hope so. He's given me a couple of heart-stopping moments so far.

Racers are looking good to move on tomorrow, but they will need a good push to do so, as long as Rezzy doesn't DNF or come in the bottom spots (also depends on how everyone else does).

Solid race by Shock today, drawing a lot more teams close to the cut line. Hopefully this gives us some momentum to not finish poorly tomorrow and we should be safe

Seams like the best strategy for this course is complete zigzag. If you get caught in the middle, you lose all momentum.
I tend to count how often he says teams names throughout the week because Greg often name drops the bottom two a lot. I have heard the Pinkies so often and every time, my heart sinks a little. STOP TALKING ABOUT US GREG!

Rezzy needs to finish at least 15th tomorrow. Finishing sixteenth is survivable as long as both Slimelime and Shock don't finish in the top three.

Aryp totally owned this race. Completely confident, they didn't hang around on any of the obstacles and just simply breezed through. What a run - deserved win.
It was sketchy at the start, but Aryp may have wanted to save it for the final section.

Omg I am so grateful that on of my favs, Team Momo is already save after another excellent race. I am proud of you Momomo!
My other two teams aren’t save yet, but Raspberry Racers are close to it and just need a solid finish like most of the weeks and will progress into next week, so I am very hopeful.
Last there are the Bumblebees and OMG was that second place finish SO much needed. Great work Swax. Sadly for whatever reason nearly ALL of the bottom teams finished top 5 today, which just make the race tomorrow even harder for most of the field. So PLS Swax, repeat this tomorrow again, okay? I need all of my top 3 in the top 16 (top half, cause we have started with 32) of this competition, that would be so damn hype! ^_^

They had the equivalent of two last place finishes this week - 2 points and a DNF… Those two races they tanked may come back to bite them…

The seventh race is going to be a nail-biter. At least eight teams (perhaps more) are still in danger of elimination. There’s no real gap between the bottom two and the pack.
