Lol of course my Thunderbolts have the fewest points of any team still safe. Aside from this week, they have seemed to be content in the back half of the field, always at threat of elimination, but just good enough to avoid it.

I have to say, major kudos to the whole JMR team - we’re *63 days* into this and I’m still unbelievably hyped to watch every single day’s race. I really hope this becomes a yearly tournament because I think I’d put it second only to the Marble League itself in terms of how invested in it I am and how excited I am to watch.
I will say though it doesn’t hurt that both of my teams have put up excellent performances thus far 😂 I may be a bit biased… #RideTheWave #RaspberryRobust

Unfortunately the angle was off, so the uberbug sent him into the stands
My goodness! Between the multiple pummelling of the bell carousel, that brutal slap to Snowdrift by the Swatter, and Jump jumping into orbit, this track was by far the most dangerous yet!
Limers got involved in ONE April Fools joke and took that PERSONALLY. Would love to see this team get a top 10 in this event, but man, this week has felt good for the team.
It's been a while since Limers fans had anything to feel good about.

Finishing in the way he did after a skull-shattering traumatic brain injury less than twenty-four hours before... Drift is the absolute CTE GOD. What a guy. This week for the White-Out Warriors was especially concerning since Snowdrift as a racer seems to have done the best in the MS100 when he has a chance to scrap, bob, and weave with bigger competitors sans obstacle interference to slow him down where he's be more easily forced out of the way, but this week he's found some wholly new levels to his game just to survive. Triggering multiple traps on this run was a hugely clutch play, and super uncharacteristic for him- I guess the Snowballs' veteran just gets better with age. He's got guts, he's got grit, he's got the marbular fortitude to take a real shot at this thing. I believe. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow indeed.

At 21:51-21:54 Greg was incorrect, that marble is Jump from the Jungle Jumpers. At 21:25 Jump was launched into orbit, and landed on the security guards and Green Ducks fans.

Oh my god is Jump okay? He got hit extremely hard at 21:25. What was looking like a win ended up being a DNF. They were barely safe from elimination too! Hope Jump is good for next week.

BonBon nearly stuck twice, catapulted backwards 4 times and still came in third. Thank god!

BonBon finally showing that much needed aggression in the early bunch-up was so satisfying. In every race early (except round 1) they kept getting bumped back by the other racers on each turn, but this time they said “THIS FAR, NO FURTHER!”

Jump lived up to his name. That *thwak* sound was him hitting the side boards behind the stands. Oof. I think that's one of only a couple of times a marble has been ejected completely from the stadium. Seeing the aftermath where he landed on the Green Ducks fans and came to a rest near the ushers, it does appear as if he has a crack. :(
I hope that front-row usher who was obliterated by Jump is getting good workers' comp.

It looked like Speedy was conserving energy through the early rounds and I feel like this week we saw why. He looked completely gassed. This is a grueling event for any marble and I think all the racing Speedy has done over the years finally caught up to him a little. He's a veteran and one of the sport's brightest stars, but his elimination really shows how exhausting this event is.

edit: i commented this when i first saw momomo get stuck, and even though i held out hope that maybe some other teams dnf'ing could save them from elimination, i knew deep down that this was it. absolutely devastating. truly a reminder that anything can happen in these races. congrats to all the teams moving on! (now to find a backup-backup-backup team to cheer for, lol)

Not only did Momo get stuck way early on, the ghost marble got stuck on the very first obstacle, so they never had a chance to get dislodged. Well, at least the dirtbag who got them stuck got eliminated too, adios Speedy

Kinda ironic that Jump landed right infront if the Green Ducka fanbase, since there were marbles that looked like the Green ducks that supported the Jungle Jumpers back in the 2017 Marble league.

Another week gone, time for some fun facts:
1) While having amassed the second most points of all marbles at this point, Swax is the only remaining marble not having won a single race yet.
2) Before this week two marbles managed to get two DNFs in a single week (both in the same week even): Mallard (eliminated) and Saucer (survived). With Jump becoming the third marble to do this and surviving, getting two DNFs in one week now has a positive survival rate.
3) With Bonbon finishing in last place for the first (and second) time this week, there's only one marble left with zero last place finishes. And this won't change anymore, because that marble is Clutter.
Mandarin practicing that last section sprint really helped today. Great way to finish the race week.

I'd say maybe the Green Ducks, but this one is close. Two teams who looked mostly safe but got eliminated due to DNFs in the final race.
Oceanics navigated the rough waters of this course flawlessly. Speeders meanwhile were just brutalized. The week without traps may've made some racers complacent given the sheer number of DNFs.

Well, I lost my #1 team last week (Pinkies) and my #2 team (Momo) this week. It’s all up to you now, Minty Mint.
That last race was hectic

Oh no Momomo 😰 😢😭 I'm not sure if Speedy is to blame here but the irony... The marble that incapacitated Momomo got eliminated with him.
Momomo had a very bad week, I legit had a bad feeling about him getting a DNF this race beforehand.
Genuinely sad that my favourite team got eliminated... Who am I going to root for now?
Nevertheless, I'm proud of you, Momomo! 🟢🔵 One 1st place in a race and one week win for my little marble. After the first week I didn't expect them to last this long!
My first four teams I wanted to win are all gone now (BOC, CCE, ROJ, TMO), so now I’m looking for someone else to root for. I genuinely have no idea.

Did you notice in the last race how Snowdrift gave that swatter a ton of space? Super fun as always seeing these marble athletes improve 🙂
After Speeders going out, and my other favourites Hazers and CCE before as well, I'm either picking a new team for the remaining competition or would watch as a neutral or, even better would cheer for the Ghost marble.
Team Momo’s dnf saved mandarin. I looked at the scoreboard before the race and said “okay, either beat the chocolatiers by 1, or beat the snowballs by 6 spots.” And then thought for sure we were done when both of those teams did very well.
Barely scraping by is certainly in the spirit of the survival 100 event, but it is terrifying every week!
Tbf, if Momomo hadn’t DNF’d it would’ve been Jump, who *also* DNF’d!
Mandarin will win this whole thing! Mandarin is making everyone believe that they not that good, but in reality is saving energy for later when finals come around. Just doing enough to squeak by every week.
@@Autopi10tNah, Mandarin’s struggling. Even saving energy, you typically don’t wanna hover just over the line. You gotta give yourself a little room for error, otherwise what you save in energy you’ll likely lose in anxiety.
That said, Mandarin’s got some wild plot armor, I’d bet they make it to top 8 at least!

This week was wild. Honestly, if the standings were reversed I'd say it would par for the course. It's crazy how the teams usually seen as bad made to the top while the regular top ones (and the Jumpers) were on the bottom.
Ahh, RIP savage speeders, we fought well, now I down my blue and yellow shirt for the bolts with primary in reserve, hope at least my secondaries can pick up a podium finish
