I sincerely fear for the marbles whenever they hit the maces in their current configuration. Those hex nuts could almost certainly scratch them, or worse, crack the glass.
Those maces were trying to mint a glass coin today.

They got hyper combo'd into last place, only the DNFs saved them some points there.

Mandarin finally put together a decently consistent race. Hopefully this week isn’t as stressful as the past couple…
Mandarins jump off the line was inspiring! Heart jumped during the mace. Whew.
Finally Mandarin gets some breaks in the tight spots rather than being knocked backwards each time.

As a Savage Speeders fan, this really hit on my unresolved trauma from last week
With the point totals getting narrower abd narrower each week it is really apparent that middling finishes just don't cut it anymore.
The Oranges are going to have a rough time.
Yea top 8 is the new top 10
middling finishes have always cut it and will continue to cut it. only the bottom 2 teams are eliminated. finishing in 8th out of 14 is mediocre but it will get you by to the next week.

That’s what happened to Speedy last week, and I don’t think he ever really recovered.
That was a brutal trap. It looks like it was fiendishly designed to do exactly what it did to Minty. That little piece of wood just keeping Minty from exiting to get hammered over and over and over again.🤕
The bolts actually coming into their stride at the right time finally and the racers dancing on the precipice of disaster.
Just 10 points separating 5th to 14th! It’s gonna be a tight week!
Each week, the 1st 2nd and 3rd place bonus points play a bigger role of the total points available.
Yeah, the remaining rounds will be cutthroat. A single slip-up could mean the difference between safe and elimination.

I counted 11 hits for Minty Mint before the camera cut away.
Shock was dead last out of the gate and through the opening sector, and then somehow overtook the ENTIRE FIELD to take the win. I have never seen that kind of push from her. Absolute monster of a run.
Amazing race for the Thunderbolts, especially after starting in last place up at the top.
Yeah, Shock really impressed me there. I thought she was going to have a bad race due to that start, but then she clawed her way forward, and even managed to finish way ahead of everyone else. Hope she can keep it up the rest of the week. This track seems to be deceptively difficult.
Mandarin woke up and chose violence.

you know it is getting down to brass tacks when you see Minty, after suffering all those battering ram concussions, STILL being conscious enough to take the top path around and avoid assisting SlimeLime and Yellah ... 3 points is 3 points. but you can't really call Minty out for bad sportsmanship when half the field apparently took the same top path after the pair got stuck in their face.off.

I’M TELLIN’ YA - THE THUNDERBOLTS ARE THE TEAM TO BEAT!!! What a recovery from the back all the way to the front for the win! That’s their third win in the last 10 races or so - KEEP CHARGING ON ⚡️⚡️⚡️
I know, last week we were either in the top or bottom 3 every race. If we can get some positive consistency going, I don't see why they couldn't take it all.
As a fan of some other truly cursed sports teams, I am used to having my heart broken at the last moment... But maybe, just maybe... I can hope.

At least Mandarin didn't play "After You!" at the start again.
Very strategic use of the mace by Shock, who timed it perfectly to get a boost at 1:42. I was initially panicking when Shock, already trailing, bounced twice on the same pyramid at 1:17, but now I see it was all a part of the plan to get to the mace at just the right moment.
I'm glad to see Jump has recovered from that brutal launch in the last race of the last course.
Damn the minty maniacs might have to make a sacrifice to whatever god controls the mace, they were clearly targeted there.
GOD DAMN IT! Minties were owning this race and suddenly they were just blocked non-stop by that damn mace!!

Swax seems to be playing a long game. Doing just enough to stay solidly safe, but not so much that they get burnt out or overexerted. Smart moves.
I’ve slowly grown more and more fond of the Bees as well. They have really been buzzing after that incredible hosting job last year.
Since team galactic got eliminated, I needed a 2nd team to cheer for, go the bumblebee

The Limers were doing so well. That was a bummer.
we were fighting for top five the entire race up until that point. At least we had that second place finish just yesterday to lean on.

That part of the track made the Limers lose a bunch of spots in the last two races.

I suspected he was hiding near there, I just wasn't looking high enough in the stands! I'm so used to him being right up in the action.

This is a deceptively brutal course
It's usually the O'rangers that hit every obstacle on the course, the Minty Maniacs now have an excuse for being Maniacs. They may need some emotional support after that run. Glad to see the O'rangers being steady. If you can finish in the middle of the pack in every race, you'll be safe at the end. Great job by Mandarin in these 2 races. Must be rough being a Kobalts fan in the stands there. Your team gets eliminated in the first week and you just watch the teams start off every day, missing all the action downwards.

Oh my gosh, Minty Mint. Needed to start using a log scale to count how many times those maces crushed him.

Oh, so THAT's what the new trap does? Bump the Chaos Tubes enough and they release a bunch of small bearings onto the field, like a smaller version of the Dumpster...

Minty Mint was not having a good time on the spinning mace section. Combo'd, nearly made it through, then got grabbed and launched back to the beginning of the zone, and then combo'd again

Heard some talk of a new strategy by Bumblebees and looks like that is the case, Swax changing up how they deal with obstacles is really paying off. Keep it up, kid, we might be safe by midweek!

Wow, I follow both Mellow Yellow and the Limers. I saw they were up in the lead for most of the race, and then I never saw them cross. Figured there was no way they BOTH DNF'd... Well, here we are.
