@trex2621 they did though, BonBon has a better result. 9>7, in a tiebreaker (which they are tied right now) the highest result counts as tiebreaker.
I'm sure I'm not the first to suggest this, but when we get to the final configuration of the course, whatever that winds up looking like, I think it'd be interesting to have a single, for-funsies run with the entire lineup, or maybe with just all of the eliminated teams. Nothing that would count towards the final results, just kind of an exhibition race.

Four racers are responsible for 11 out of 12 top three (podium) finishes in this event.
- another way to look at it is -
40% of the racers claimed 92% of all podium finishes in this event.
The top 3 racers have almost half of all points as well
Truth! You can’t tell me marbles are all even in weight if there’s a definite bias with repeat podium finishes.
@@n84434 They are not all the same weight. They have shown some trivia before (or maybe it was in their video game...?) that the marbles have different weights, along with other stats.

Chocolatiers: 35%
Limers: 32%
Mellow Yellow: 25%
Oceanics: 3.3%
Bumblebees: 0.13%
M-Tron 2000 simulates the remaining races in the week 1 million times to count how many times each team is eliminated.
Race ending order is random, though cumulative points are taken into account. For each race, a team gets one ticket for each point they have earned in all previous races. All tickets are put in a hat, and one ticket is drawn for first place. That team is assigned first and the rest of their tickets removed. Repeat for second, etc.
There is a 50% chance that last place will DNF. If that happens, there is a 50% chance that second to last place will DNF, and so on.
The percentages describe the percent of simulations the team ended up eliminated. Probabilities below 0.1% are not shown.

Rezzy and Aryp have been so consistent throughout this competition. The teams that get eliminated tend to either be teams that didn't look strong in previous weeks or looked dominant, but couldn't figure out a track. Aryp and Rezzy have been pretty good at staying middle of the pack imo are the favorites to win this whole thing.
only last week was a scary week as a RBR fan. But apart from that Rezzy has been insane
i was so happy for a top half finish from mandarin, only to have him sink even lower in the week’s standings!
The O'rangers had their best finish of the week and ......................
technically went backwards, lol. That #4 finish includes almost doubling their point total and Mandarin is now staring at elimination.

Slimeline learned at the beginning there that sticking to Swax once they've found a good line down is a good strategy, but they can't find a good way to weave once that carousel gets going! Think they're gonna have to just try and go fast enough to get past the carousel before it starts to pull through this week.

I know it's random, but I can't help but notice that Shock was placed in the same starting position for the last 3 or 4 races. When I saw that I actually exclaimed "Oh come on!!" out loud 😆 That position isn't doing him any favors!!!

These results show the problem in Shock's prior strategy by taking it easy one race to finish strong the next. All it takes is one or two bad finishes after a "rest" race to put the Thunderbolts in elimination territory. It has to be all-out from now on to make it to the next round.
Very true. Though 80 straight days of racing may force you to risk a bit of a rest sometimes.

The magic number to auto-qualify is down to 55 points. Team Primary is now in complete control of it's own fate, a win tomorrow guarantees they move on, regardless of how everyone else finishes. Another way for them to qualify is to simply finish ahead of 2 teams currently placed 6-10; so expect the Primaries to qualify tomorrow. The Racers also have a chance to qualifying tomorrow. They would need a 8th place finish or better, AND 2 teams positioned 6-10 to DNF or be in the bottom 2 to cross the line. The Rockets and the Bees are also starting to get close to qualify, but they need a top 2 finish AND need the lowest of teams to have a really bad day to punch their ticket to the next round. Four teams stand just 2 points apart from the second team getting cut, a good day by any one of them will get them some much needed insurance as we're moving into the weekend push towards elimination.

Yeah, when they switched to the last camera, i fully expected Saucer to appear, but considering how long it took i figured Saucer had already passed and finished, until he popped up at the very end.
Luckily they're pretty safe, but wow that was a tumble.

Swax pulled off an amazing from-behind finish today -- they were sitting awfully low in the standings early on, but just kept making up ground throughout! Hopefully they're able to keep up this pace for a couple more weeks!
Aryp needs 1 point to clinch safety. It actually would be possible for a 9-way tie at 44 points.

Slimelime was having a pretty decent race until that damn bell carousel at the end. The placement of that thing and the ramp just after it that kicks you back into the carousel is absolutely brutal…

A good catchup from Bonbon! Near the back of the pack most of the race, to a third place finish! Very much needed after the first few races this week. Still, work to be done in clawing up from the bottom!
Coming to terms with the fact that if the Thunderbolts don’t turn this around from here, they’re done. Been cheering them on since the beginning even though they’ve been close to elimination several times.
