There aren't many stationary objects for Mandarin to hit, but they found one right under the battering ram. They hit it and it popped them directly into the ram's path.
Mandarin loves a good stationary object!
On the other hand, first time ever Mandarin gained positions at the last part of the race. I take all wins.

Yeah, was so glad he negotiated the opening wall of death well, and was looking pretty good till that double wack. But he did recover and had a good final sprint at the end to dodge last place.

Rezzy’s pathing was on point today!! Bummer they got passed up at the finish line but stoked to see them in the top 3!
Honestly that pass really annoyed me, but you're right 3rd place for now is very positive!!

Jelle really outdid himself with this course. So many places to get knocked around and caught in, feels like there's danger around every turn. Marbles beware!

The chance of a DNF is estimated by the number of DNFs on the current track, as long as it falls into the range from 1% to 8%. After race 72, that's 1 in 24, or 4.2%.
Probabilities smaller than 1 in 100,000 (0.001%) are not estimated directly from the simulation, but are extrapolated using a best-fit function. Those are only approximate.
i still don't get why you simulate things - the probabilities aside DNF can be calculated exactly and DNF included still estimated.

Both my Speeders and Maniacs are out, but still going to watch the rest of this series! A ton of respect to all the marbles for making it this far. This series if fun, but also very ruthless, and not for the faint of heart
I made like 5 bets but the only one I have left is chocolatiers.
I made two, Speeders are gone, but Mellow Yellow is still here. The only other team that remains that I like enough to actually support is the Thunderbolts.
I lost Team Galactic and Minty Maniacs, but still have Raspberry Racers, Bumblebees, and Indigo Stars, I guess
I support 4 teams and last week eliminated 2 of my 4 teams, so I now only have 1 left
At least all my bets placed better than 18th...
I supported 2 teams in this M100, the turtle sliders😢

Mandarin had better get checked out for concussion after that hit by the ram. Oof, no wonder he was slow after that.
Shows just how much of a veteran athlete he is for pulling himself together, making up a few spots and finishing the race. I just hope that he hasn't got a concussion and he gets benched tomorrow.
*FUN FACT:* Every team (except the team currently in 1st place) can find themselves in the bottom two spots after tomorrow’s race.

Oceanics need to get 5th or up in multiple races, these 7th and 6th place finishes will not keep them safe for long

They were doing so well most of this race but got caught out by the dumpster right at the end. It's those little mistakes that are really going to cost them in these late stages.

Thunderbolts have been doing fairly okay recently, I have no doubts that they can make up for it. We still have 5 races to go this week after all!

Cpt. Citrus: "Y'arr, me orbital hearties! Take down the obstacles! Remove the dumpster especially! I want every sherbet shelling on board to fire on those scurvy pests!"
[The main ship of the fleet, THE FEVER DREAMSICLE, sails to align itself for a broadside volley. As it does, CAPTAIN CITRUS faces the camera as it zooms to a close-up.]
"Ahoy, me hearties! If ye be wantin' the most action-packed start to your races and the strongest spoiler barriers, ye gotta be drinkin' Tropicannon! All of the day's essential vitamins with a heavy helpin' of black powder! Tropicannon Orange Juice - FIRE THE CANNONS!"
[At CAPTAIN CITRUS's command, THE FEVER DREAMSICLE fires on the course. The explosions and shrapnel obscure the frame enough to allow for a fade to black before the logo for TROPICANNON ORANGE JUICE fades in.]
With scores being so tight, I can already see it being very hard for anyone to get some separation unless they're consistently finishing strong.
We're in the stage where skill matters more than luck.

Rezzy slowing to a crawl there at the end has me a little worried, but I also think it showcases Rezzy's strong point. As long as they're away from others, they can adapt and pick new paths quite quickly. They just seem to struggle with pushing past others.

I used to have the same problem but I've since learned that (at least to m eyes) the Pinkies have more of a shine to them than the Snowballs (who seem to have a more matte finish)
This is why I go for the O'rangers. I can find them easily.

Pretty sure Rezzy was just looking for that finish line bell he's been ringing all last week. We usually have to warm up to the track and come back in the second or third run.

It's interesting, with fewer competitors, there's a smaller difference between first and last which should make it easier to come back from a bad race.

Seven of the 10 completed events had two teams alone at the bottom (no ties for second to last) after the first two rounds. Only 36% of those teams would ultimately be eliminated at the end of that event... so Limers and Indigo Stars fans need not start to panic quite yet :)

A great follow up performance to a great start! Us Chocolatiers fans can finally get a week where we can seemingly rest easy, and I didn't expect it to come this late in the competition! Bonbon has been doing a great job at navigating this course, even if they haven't scored a podium finish. As for the Indigo Stars, I'm very much surprised to see Diego in the bottom two considering how dominant they've been over past weeks, which goes to show how tight the competition is getting over the last couple of weeks.
Some pity considering Bonbon is the reason Diego finished 11th today! Look at 1:45 . Should've known you can't trust a team that likes chocolate so much
Lol jk, ya'll deserve a week to chill, and maybe we deserve a week where we have to freak out a little bit...

The BATTERING RAM?!? That's not normally an obstacle that Mandarin struggles with but he got whacked hard by it. You need to find a way AROUND the traps, Mandarin. NOT getting right in their path!

Usually I'd be annoyed at being passed right at the end, but it wasn't a particularly costly one here. Third is still great (and puts Rezzy up to 2nd in the overall rankings), and it's a good points haul that should go a long way toward safety. I imagine the threshold is gonna be lower this week, so every point helps. Also, we're pretty much the biggest team left! #RaspberryRacers
Is anybody else rooting for multiple teams or just me? Cause i don't know who love the most: Raspberry racers, oceanics or purple rockets(also kobalts but they lost alreadly and team galactic)

Since my team is out, I'm rooting for pretty much everyone except Orangers (they've won enough) and Limers (a team I've never found likeable).
My fav teams are the Raspberry Racers, HAZERS, and Chocolateers, but usually I only focus on Rezzy and praise BonBon if they do well. (Also you should join team Raspberry Robust!!!)
I have three teams I root for, but two are already out. Team Primary is hanging on, though.
Mellow Yellow, Team Momo, and Team Primary are my favorite teams.
Great recovery from Jump! There's still a long way to go to safety though.
