Welcome at this brand new marble racing event called the "Marble Survival 100", (#MS100) which contains 100 races!
In this elimination tournament, 32 marbles from all famous Marble League teams will compete to survive the longest over 100 races. In this video, the bottom 2 ranked marbles will be eliminated.
NOTE: About the camerawork/editing issues: I (Jelle) 'm aware of the camera / editing issues, the videos will be improved over time so we are working on it.

Green Ducks worsened the most from one race to another. From winning race 4 to finishing in 28th in race 5.
O’rangers and the Jungle Jumpers were the only team’s mentioned at least once in each race.
Kobalts are the only team in the standings to start and finish week 1 in the same placement.

What an amazing comment, all stats that should show up at the end of each elimination race on the video. I could have sworn that the Bumblebees did get mentioned once post-race, but maybe I'm just remembering wrong.
another one for your list might be steady improvement or decline. savage speeders were worse or equal each race for example.

Oh god, when Shock hit that ramp and dropped from second to fifth, my heart stopped a little bit, and watching him go under the battering ram and get bumped back underneath it was so stressful. But we came in clutch to squeak through!

That way it's easier to see who to pay attention to.
Would also like more cameras so we can see where the DNFs in each run ran into trouble.

That was a cataclysmic collapse by the Midnight Wisps. Only 2 points in the final two races (9 in the last three), when it ultimately mattered the most to place high in the order. Us fans will undoubtedly be bitter for the next 3 months that this event continues, especially after a promising finish to Marble League 2023 that left us optimistic about a potential rebound. Simply an abominable performance...

Yeah I'm officially not a midnight wisp fan anymore. This was abysmal. Their performance has been terrible for years now. I'm moving on.
Ace never scored lower than 19 points. Wospy never scored higher than 18.
Yeah that was a rough one. We will have to bounce back another time. For now my second and third favorite teams made it through even if it was close. GO THUNDERBOLTS GO OCEANICS! Blue teams don't seem to be doing very dandy right now but I root for them nonetheless

I know it’s a new event so there’s kinks to work out but some things to help viewing be easier:
*Can Greg see the card after the race showing everyone’s placements? He has been wondering whether they’re DNFs while we’re seeing the screen that shows the full placements. Makes for a bit of a confusing experience.
*Would love to see the final rankings before the elimination each week to build suspense and remind us each marble’s look.

@@Elemectric travesty is an understatement. Wospy was the racer for the Midnight Wisps, and outside of one race win in M1S2, he's been horrendous since his collapse in the 2020 ML marathon

I love the jungle jumpers with a passion, good to finally see them doing well
This whole week was a tough one for a Kobalts fan. Race after race the damnation was being announced.
Snowballs: mission accomplished, we are not the first to go.
An exciting race to determine who goes and who stays! About 7 teams could be the ones to go, and who shall it be?
It's the Kobalts and Midnight Wisps! Poor Kobalts continue to have poor showings in everything but Marbula 1, and the Midnight Wisps once again seem to prove that 2019 was their peak.
MVP of this round easily goes to Jump, captain of the Jungle Jumpers. Only came in 2nd with the Blackjacks having amazing consistency, but Jump took 1st 3 of out 7 races. Nobody else won more than 1 race, absolutely dominant performance after Race 1. Hopefully they haven't used all their energy on that and can keep it up, I'm hoping they'll keep Jumping over the Elimination Bar right up until the end.
Solid performance from Mallard. Lets have a better start next week though.

That was Azure's first individual events after 2022.
Sapphire might gave Azure for run.
The idea is great (and allows you to create a lot of content with one setting xD)
To make it a bit more interesting in every race even for teams well placed, I would suggest a few changes to the formula, either separately or together.
1) Have the eliminations more often, like evert 3 to 5 races.
2) Keep half or a third, or even a fourth of the points in the next phase: so that marbles which did really well are awarded a lead, even though they can more easily be eliminated than of you accumulated points from race 1 to the last.

When I saw that he DNFd, my heart dropped. I knew going into this that he was _almost_ safe, but there was still a chance of elimination if the marbles below him placed high enough.

Week 1 comes to a close. Tomorrow we'll have a clean slate. Who will go home next?
I don't get this event. It'll take another 7 days to get the next incremental result. Each race is the same thing over and over where it's difficult to see what's going on, especially since the camera follows the leaders and not at the back where the 'action' is given this is all about elimination. There isn't much for the commentator to comment on because again it's just the dance thing over and over and he can't see what's going on. I appreciate the effort that goes into these events, but this whole concept seems flawed.
@@user-yb6fe8xb1g I like it, getting a little nugget of action each day is awesome, but I do agree there can be some improvements made. Some better camera angles, and maybe a replay of the race at the end where you can see the whole course at once and follow everything that happens.

I cannot believe the savage speeders pulled through this. speedy has been really middle of the pack for this, and then DNF’s at the pawns. Absolutely crazy
It's a small thing, but you might want to check what you're using to generate the credits for the donators. It seems to be mangling some of the extended characters somewhere - eg at 3:40, second column just up from the bottom, Oliver's last name appears to be confused somewhat. Also just above Matt Monitto in the last column is another, for example. There's a few more sprinkled through the list, from what I saw. Could be the copy/paste, could be the software.
Pinkies took some time to find their footing, but as always they pull through in the end!!!! LETS GO PINKIES #PINKIEPOWER

Sea 25th (29th) SAFE - Boy let me tell you, when i saw how low they finished I was prepared for the worst, but a bunch of DNF's gives us more than enough points to see us through to next week. It wasn't easy, but we've gotten there and thats what matters, good job Sea.
Sterling 15th (9th) SAFE - Another solid consistent finish wraps up a great week for Sterling, never in doubt at any point. If we see more of this throughout next weeks races and beyond, Sterling could be a shoe-in for a total victory!
Snowdrift 21st (18th) SAFE - No unnecessary risks and no major mistakes for Snowdrift sees them easily through to next week. This consistency is great, hopefully we get some even more impressive performances in the future.
Mallard 10th (17th) SAFE - A great finish to end of a wild streak of races for Mallard. From a total disaster, to a glorious comeback, to somewhere in between. Lets try to be a bit more consistent going forward, no more heart palpitating streaks please.
Minty Mint 27th (28th) SAFE - Not going to lie, there was a bit of a choke going on in the last two races for Minty Mint, but some good results earlier gave them the chance to make mistakes and still advance. Hopefully those mistakes are cleaned up.

I have been the CCE and RR fan almost since the beginning. Good to see the RR doing better in the last 3 races.
It would be nice to have shots of the DNF marbles, maybe even a replay if possible. This race had FOUR DNF and Greg didn't even mentionned them
I believe they cut the video first and Greg does his commentary based on that, so if they don't show the DNF's he can't comment on them until the standings on the end. He's basically as clueless about them as we are as he's seeing the same thing.
Really impressive by Mallad to come 10th in this race after a terrible start and getting passed by the ghost marble before clearing the first obstacle.

OMG! I feel really, really sorry for the Midnight Wisps fans, but their DNF basically saved one of my teams from elimination, but oh well Team Momo, you have to step up your game, cause you very saved by pure luck here and not so much because of your own power.
But still very happy and with that all of my three teams are at least in the second round, glad that especially my Raspberry Racers recovered and Bumblebees at least were able to show a good last race here.
Also props to the Thunderbolts, who left their fans in shock until the very last trace and pulled it of there.
First and second place of week 1 completely deserved it, like having most points without a podium or having 3/7 wins in the book in terms of Jungle jumpers is definitely an achievement. Very well done, also to the O‘rangers of course in all fairness.
