As a savage speeders fan that was insane and speedy also managed to catch up to momomo after a bad start

Momomo hacked the course at the start. He squeezed through the halfpipe and totally skipped the pyramid section!
Momomo has had me worried this whole week with middling performances, but that ingenious move around the logo was great!

this massive cross-field cut at @1:26 while avoiding the flag pin is stuff of legend. Might be the highlight of the whole Marble Survival run right there.

Momomo’s entire run was really creative!
Speedy's pass of the oceanics and momo at 1:48 is just masterfully executed. You can tell that we're watching arguably the most experienced and capable single marble in history.

@@MrHistoryManGaming The only other marbles that come close are probably Mandarin, Red Eye, and Rapidly. But, like I said, Speedy is the greatest single marble amongst those other three. Nobody in their right mind would have Speedy beneath anybody other than those three marbles. In my opinion, those four all make up the mount rushmore of marble athletics.
@@Elliottklassen jeez looking back at marbula 1 I don't think rapidly deserves a spot in the top 4. I'd quicker give it to royal, momo or yellow eye.

Marble Survival 100 one race win% WR
Mandarin may have lifted the O'Rangers out of the elimination zone, but they're only 4 points away from it. Mandarin will have to repeat this success to stay safe.
Mandarin's magic number to clinch safety is 54 points. Every place below second that Starry and Pinky Panther place over the last three races will reduce that number.
@@vamoscruceros doesn't look encouraging at all, if your math is correct, that means Mandy will need to average a 7th place finish in the next 3 races to get to that magic number, which I have a hard time seeing at the moment
@@HoangNguyen-rd6qy That would only be the case if Pinky Panther and Starry both finish in the top two in races 54, 55, and 56. Realistically they won't do for all three races, but Mandarin still needs to have a decent performance in each of the remaining races this week.
@@vamoscruceros I'm pretty sure that's not true. With only 4 points separation, all they need to do is stay close to Mandy for the next 2 races then go all out on Sunday. In fact I think your math might be off for some reason, the magic number for Mandy must be around 58-60 to advance.
Mandarin is slowly improving
Certainly a better rank each time would be a neat result, but sadly I don’t have that level of confidence in Mandarin. 😝
But we can dream!
Mandarin is always best on the Wed-Sat races, but honestly, I think this week is just survive. This course is not built for a straight-line racer like Mandarin.

Man Starry really struggled in the Red section. It was in 6th coming out of the logo ( 1:50 ) and somehow let every other marble get past them in the final stretch. Ouch! Galactic REALLY needs a good run soon. I'd even be happy with an ol' 5th place finish at this point.
I'll be happy if they end this week in 16th place....

Mandarin putting on the jets from the start but this is not his course. It’ll be a miracle if he survives this week
One of the very fastest marbles but also the most prone to getting bumped around on everything they touch. All I see are things to run into this week.

I think two double digit point places in the next 3 races and we should be fine. There isn't as many points available as these series goes on, so not everyone in the back 6 is going to have a chance to jump out. Just hope we aren't one of them left behind.
After 53 races, Team Momo finally wins a race
Better late than never - at least they’re still in there.
I’m ok if we don’t win any, as long as we survive until we’re the last marble standing. I’d like to see our friend and former teammate Aryp join us for that race.

That line Momomo took in the yellow section almost gave me a heart attack. Turned out to be a good move though in the end.
The Oceanics have found their sea legs 🦵
Throughout the event, they've done poorly on race #1s, better for the middle ones and even better for the 7th races.
They just needed to feel out the track in week 1. Now they know where to go.
This feels like the best week for the Savage Speeders so far. They are doing great! Keep it up Speedy
Feels like they've finally decided to stop sandbagging and actually flex on the other marbles this week.
Yay! Momomo made the strategic move drafting Razzy in the squiggle then zipping to the outside bypassing the ramps and getting ahead!
I had NO worries about team galactic....
Until this week....
They have 3 more races to turn it around..... Anybody else worried?
I don't worry because my favorites are probably safe, but I would be worried if my team was at the bottom 2. However the difference between Starry and Mandarin is only 4 points, so I wouldn't give my hopes up in this situation. Next race will determine a lot of things for this week.

It seems Starry has always been struggling with tracks with lots of curves and collisions, but they're good at boosting from momentum or leading the race. This is a tough week for you Starry, but I hope you make it to the next week. I believe in you! You are a champion material!

Excellent showing by Bonbon this race! Overall solid racing and an incredible dive bomb maneuver to take third in front of Sea and Slimelime! This was definitely needed to secure the Chocolatiers' position!
Chocolatiers never performed so well, I can see them making it pretty darn far into the elimination!
Bonbon pulled off a brilliant steal right at the end.
This might be it for Starry. They need some big points in the last 3 races...

Momomo has been pretty quiet all week but this was a great performance from them! They’ve struggled with some of these slower sections on this track but avoided that problem today by simply going around it. Keep up the good work Momomo!

If I was a marble racing sports commentator, I would observe that Starry has good top end speed and is agile, but where Starry struggles is in traffic. Constantly getting bumped and jostled backwards when making contact with more aggressive marbles. If Starry can race "elbows out", TGL would be a truly dominant team.

Aside from this, looks like I mainly gotta cheer my second team, #MomoStrong on for the week, Momomo did amazingly today - and even tricked the others by taking the Secret Side Path at 1:27 😄
The Snowballs and Chocolatiers continue to consistently get the results they need. Even if they aren't winning (mostly not, in fact), they're staying comfortably mid-field most weeks.

Team Momo once again shows the creativity on the track with that slip at the end of the green section avoiding those pyramids. Especially since the pyramids are some kind of an achilles heel for the team throughout the whole series...you can see momomo struggling even on this run at 1:48. It does not always go as well as this time but is always entertaining. KEEP IT UP TEAM MOMO!

Looking pretty bleak there for a while, but you made it a good run in the final stretch Swax, you beautiful marble.
That’s a little better for my 🍊 boys! Mandy did WAY better than I expected. Also helps that the Pinkies and Galactic got bad placements (and MYL getting a DNF).
Also is it just me or does this course have a grudge against solid-colored marbles?
