Oh sweet I guessed that tear duct question based on the word lachrymose, which means ‘tearful’. No I don’t regularly use that word Hollywood, but I remember it from high school 😆 I try not to have regrets cuz where does that get you? But I do wish that one of my relationships could’ve ended on better terms… The similarly-themed All Day and All of the Night is my favorite Kinks song… in which he wants to be with this girl ‘all day and all of the night.’ That chick must be amazing lol

Van Halen did a cover of this song on their first album. Both versions were innovative. The Kinks original introduced intentional distortion on a track. Dave Davies had a rip in the speaker cone of his amp, which made that buzz. The Van Halen version followed "Eruption" and was, of course bt Van Halen... That entire first album was a game changer.
