This band is phenomenal live, you need to dive deeper into this band. That's not a request, that's an order! One of my favorite songs is slaughter the martyr. It's like 4 songs in one. You don't even realize it's 10 minutes long. I can start that song leaving my driveway and it will finish as I start my turn into my shops driveway.

Gotta check out Machine Head "None but my own" live in studio 2019. Outstanding performance
Hollywood, the drummer at the end was hitting the center bell of the ride cymbal - it makes a shorter bell sound than hitting the flat part of the cymbal
One of the highlights of my life was standing on the scene for that gig. Absolutly insane energy from both band and crowd. I will never forget that!
I recommend Kreator, Napalm Death, High On Fire, Coroner, Saint Vitus, Sleep, Death, Godflesh 🤘
Ohh, one of my favourite bands and songs. First one I ever heard of them (and still one of my favourites) was "Old" - specifically the version from the "Hellalive" album. Think you'd enjoy it too :) It's interesting how they seem to bounce between Nu-Metal and "normal" Metal every few albums.
As for Wacken, you gotta consider that this isn't the only stage. They have like...11 I think? And at least 3 stages playing at the same time at all times. Pretty sure it's the biggest metal festival in Europe.
On a third note I'd love for you to check out Otep - Jonestown Tea at some point cause it's awesome, but also really fucked up.

This jam never gets old! You guys should check out some other tracks from this album like "A Thousand Lies" or "A Nation On Fire", perfect combination of Groove and Thrash! Love me some Machine Head, some of their albums are hit and miss but they really nail it when they get it right! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Fully agree, they had a 3 album run that were absolute masterpieces! Bloodstone and diamonds is my favorite.

Machine Head is the band I have seen the most live. Such power ! Always come away from a gig with no voice and a sore neck
I saw Machine Head twice once in 1994 on their first tour ever and again in 2009 and both times they opened for Slayer
I'm really looking forward to seeing them this summer at the Copenhell festival

Machine Head is still making some of the best music to this day as well as putting on amazing shows.

I can't even explain why, but I think you guys are really great because you make me feel like I'm really enjoying the music and not acting. Also, you hardly interrupt the songs and the reactions are genuine. I just think it's mega and want to pay tribute to you and just say thank you. This song is about the Dividian massacre in Waco, Tx. I drove by it every weekend for years and even during the seige when I was a kid. I remember seeing the smoke from the fires from the highway. The ATF and FBI totally murdered those people. Koresh should have been taken to jail but most of the other people were innocent. Especially the children. They had a chance to grab Koresh before the raid while he was jogging alone but wanted to make an example out of him and the Davidians. The "official" story is that Koresh started the fires. But anyone with more than two brain cells knows that's complete bs. It wasn't even the first incident where the government killed innocent people like that to "make an example". The Move compound in Philadelphia was bombed by the police along with 2 blocks of residential housing. Multiple students where assassinated at Kent State University. And right now the government is close to killing more students with snipers at the nationwide Free Palestine protests. The US government is a terrorist organization.
They specifically requested the banned tear gas because it was known to be flammable.

I didn't see this in the comments so forgive me if I am repeating, a machine head is the small knob that is used to tune a string on a musical instrument. Usually found on the head of a guitar, for example.
The person in the middle of a circle pit does the hokey pokey and they turn themselves around. That's what it's all about.
Never messed with Machine Head too much but that breakdown at the end was lit. I always confused them with Fear Factory for some reason who I never messed with much either. Good reaction as always!

3:43 Getting kind of sick of this misconception that nu metal is strictly a fusion of rock and rap. There are PLENTY of groups in the genre that don't rap ever: Sevendust, Staind, Adema, Soil, Static-X, Cold, Earshot, one of the OGs Helmet, need I go on? The primary characteristic of the genre is downtuned guitar
A machine head is the top of the guitar where the tuning pegs are.

unlike the woodstock debacal whit limpbizkit's set, if you get real metalhead's doing a big pit/circle pit there is alot of respect among people, if one drops they get picked up pritty fast becaue we take care of one and other :D, and tbh wacken is one of the best festivals i have ever bin at whit alot of people cooming to germany to share there love of metal :D
