Here I come with a little bit of real science. Running at the speed of light would take you literally 8 frames of a 60fps video to give 1 loop through Earth. So that thing Superman usually does when he like does many circles around Earth, WELP THAT'S ACTUALLY LIGHT SPEED. So the fact that Barry and the rest do take a few moments to run from place to place around a single city (Central City) this means they do not run any close to the speed of light. Additionally, to reach Lightspeed (aka C) you have to reach Mach ‭880,965 (880,965 times the speed of sound), and I don't think any speedster can go that fast 🤣 But in the end, it's Sci-fi for some reason, I don't need to run through Earth in 8 frames, I just need to feel that fast! I'm more willing to use A-Train's other speed feats to put a cap on Starlight's beams than I am to use Starlight's beams to grant A-Train an otherwise unconfirmed speed boost. It just seems more consistent her weird concentrated beams are just far slower than light (but still fast enough to catch anyone in this setting off-guard).

But below light speed I wonder how it all looks..like imagine seeing the entire world just go by instantly because u can run around it so fast…the perception of time is crazy, because to us it’s instant but to them it’s like minutes hours or even days

Also, does the Thawne we see in 9x10 come from a timeline where Harrison Wells never died, and successfully launched the particle accelerator with his wife in 2020? Or is that just completely different? So many unanswered questions
