My theory is... Jordan's power set will be heat vision, flight, frost breath. Jon's power set will be super strength, invulnerability, super speed. Possibly more but that's what I think they're setting up
So basically the show will be a cross between Lois a d Clark and smallvillw

I think Jonathan will be the battery while Jordan will have the powers, which is why Jor-El couldn’t detect any sunlight absorption in Jordan. Jordan only used his powers when he was near Jonathan so that’s what leads me to think that. Maybe together they both have powers, but apart, they don’t? 🤔

I remember when Lois Lance and Lana Lang acquired superhuman abilities upon their exposure to Superman's radioactive energies. Lois's powers were equivalent to Superman's, whereas Lana held command over the electromagnetic spectrum. What if the writers did the same thing with Jordan getting the powers of Superman and Jonathan getting the powers of Lana Lang's Superwoman.

I believe both boys will have abilities eventually. If they get the opportunity to go further with more seasons. I can see them bouncing around back and forth with and without powers. Eventually, I believe both will have powers at the same time. Would be very difficult for their father to deal with both boys having abilities
My theory is that Jordan will become this universe's version of Superboy Prime. The writers of the show have already shown they like to make their own versions of DC characters, and Jordan is already emotional and accidentally hurt someone else in the way Superboy Prime did in Infinite Crises before he turned evil.
My theory is that they are like Wonder Twins

Something I think could be really cool is if they each get half of his powers. Like maybe Jordan gets heat vision, cold breath, and super senses, making him the more intellectual based hero, while John gets speed, strength, and flight. Could be a cool dynamic seeing two half super men fight together to equal the strength of one

I think that the twins have to be within close proximity of each other so in order for their powers to work. Think about it every time one of them has shown any type of powers, or hint of powers, they’ve been near each other. Plus in the second episode they make a big deal about how they’ve never gone to school without each other. That could explain why Jor-El said that Jordan could never be like Clark and why Jonathan who’s supposed to be a football prodigy was getting thrown around; because they have to be near each other for their powers to work because they share powers
I think it would be a cool plot point if both twins had powers BUT could only use them when they are together.

What if early in life Jonathan had the same thing said to him from jor el, his powers only work on command so when he’s happy he can control them but he seems more sad than happy so far so he’s not powered rn. It’s why when Jordan gets mad his powers flair up. His powers prolly ran out too because he showed them early on

I remember that when Barry, when fighting savitar, went to the future, just to see iris was dead and the flash team separated, but then, Cisco used some kind of tool thingy that stopped Barry from being able to enter the speed force, i don’ remember how it worked, but they did like a lot of “zoom” in it like they were gonna use it, but they never did. Was that the writers doing fake foreshadowing or they straight forgot?
