@@birdoclock8736 they didnt mean the Character, they meant the animal. Because in many times in the show Barry let the big bad or villain of the the episode get by without even trying to run after them.

these writers treat my boi barry’s speed like crap. like let him be consistent with his speed.
But that would ruin the plot cause he's too fast and cause they don't have the budget to make a real powerful enemy to fight every week so limiting his speed is the only thing they really can do.
Na listening to Dragon ball fans talk about power levels made stop caring about consistent power levels.

Barry's speed is never constant even in the comics as long as they stay consistent with this change it will make sense just like it did before not to say they didnt have plot holes in some of the earlier seasons but they chose to go the comic route with Barry facing mental blocks causing him to be less focused while running initially slowing him down as well as some other factors but Barry also needed to show progression like the comics which he has for awhile now so it feels nice to finally get to see Barry with his full potential unlocked but dont be surprised if in a episode he runs slower due to a reason which the writers will throw in there just so he can face a villain they have even done this in the comics so it wont surprise me nor should it surprise any of u
Even if Barry has infinite speed he will somehow lose chase if someone is in a car

Future Trunks He won’t notice something moving 3 times the speed of light... Also, as far as Joe West goes, he doesn’t care about killing murderers very much, Cisco could Vibe him there and Joe could pop a full mag into Cicadas head. Unless his skin is bulletproof. Is it bulletproof? I couldn’t finish season five, I stopped when Cisco vibes the dagger into space rather than another universe, so cicada is able to call it back within a minute.
If the Reverse Flash would've been there, imagine how a conversation would've went with him and Lex Luthor.

The only speedster that can match Barry in terms of speed is Reverse Flash. So their fights will still be epic.
Also where was Reverse Flash in the Crisis? He was teased to be there since season 1.
Rekua- Believe me, I’m aware of Godspeed’s sheer speed. But from my understanding, in terms of speed, Flash and Reverse Flash are equal.

I'm sure he will be limited in speed the next time that the story demands it.
And that's not a bad thing.
It actually is. You can't establish a level of abilities a character has with established rules. Which Flash has none because the answer is always something something"Speedforce" and then all of a sudden he can't use them at his full potential. Because the plot demands it. It makes any situation he's in have fake tension.

If the Speed force overlaps time and space also the Multiverse then anything is possible. Like him running into the force to go back in time to save our other heroes throwing them into it to save them into the current timeline. I cant wait to see what happens!
