- This season may have finally introduced a character most fans had been dying to see in the show (that being Godspeed), but it definitely didn't get into too much detail about why he has white lightning. So let's see if we can figure it out!

I feel Savitar had white lightning but only showed when he's in his suit because he can go his fastest without hurting himself
MegatronusOrionpax 137 the only reason his lighting was “white” was because he was literally trapped in the speedforce, so the only way he could run and get to the earth was tapping in the speedforce and “running” through portals I guess.

Here's how it is folks, Savitar's lightning was white because whenever he used the suit, the suit had something in it, like a tachyon device or two, to help him speed up I suspect, and he had the suit because his speedforce aura wasn't stable enough with the tachyons he was putting into himself in order to artificially boost his speed, so the suit kept him safe. Because in the comics, and I suspect in the show, your speedforce aura has to be proportionally strong with how fast you are, so it can keep the static friction and friction forces at bay.

I think that savitar white lighting color is because his suit is actually some kind of full body tachion device. That's the reason why he is much faster than other speedsters( and his suit neutralizes friction created by running with superspeed) that encreases his speed to a high level!!

The reason why white lighting isn’t in the flash museum is because non speedsters couldn’t see savitar. So therefore they didn’t notice.

I think Savitar actually may have natural white lightning. The reason for this is Savitar needs the suit to run his fastest, so since he couldn’t run his fastest without his suit his lightning changed to orange instead of white. So if Savitar could run faster without getting hurt without suit he may have white lightning. But I may be wrong since Barry got red lightning while using the suit. But this could also be because Barry got mad and connected to the negative speedforce. If you read the comics you will see that Barry gains white lightning while fighting Reverse Flash after not holding back and running his fastest. So in conclusion Savitar’s lightning could be affected by the suit or that he actually has natural white lightning when he runs faster.
I think Savitar’s suit made his lightning white because it was boosting the speedforce in his system a lot. By that I mean I think the suit was a huge tachyon enhancer which made his lightning change color. And I think you’re right about original Barry’s lightning turning red when he got in the suit.

The Flash Museum doesn't have record of white lightning because Savitar never existed as he was erased in the season 3 finale.
Itamar Alon then how would Barry iris and everybody else remember him he got erased from the timeline but the stuff he did didn’t
@@DarkColten I'm not sure about the rest of the team, but speedsters have some immunity to timeline changes, and will keep memories of the changes. Also, we have seen Cisco retain memories from the original timeline when it has been altered, perhaps he can remember this as well?

I feel like Purple Lightning is when, Speedsters get their speed from the Speedforce in an unnatural way, like how Nora had purple and little bit of orange lightning, Iris also had Purple Lightning. So my theory is Purple Lightning comes getting speed in an unnatural way like a Metahuman power that transfers speed to another person, like Iris in Season 4, or being born with speed, like Nora all through Season 5. Hope Comics sees this and, at least considers it being somewhat true. Hope everyone has a great Summer!!!

If I remember correctly, in the flash comics white lighting was a sign of a speedster running so fast they were at the point of breaking the time barrier.

Except for Reverse Flash and Zoom (Hunter Zolomon), they have red lighting because of their speed force.
@@kobaye2111 see I have been reading and listening to a lot about flash and I do t ever remember Hunter lighting being different because of the negative speed force that Thawn created.
I know Eobard Thawn is red because of his connection the negative speed force but hunter was never really connected to the speed force, he was connected to the ultimate force I Believe.

@@lordvika2526 Well when Barry was connected to the negative speed force, his lightning turned black. And with the reboot new 52 and relaunch rebirth, it's kinda confusing.
In like 10 years Eobard was Reverse Flash then Zoom THEN Reverse flash again. Hunter Solomon was Zoom, then no one (replace by Eobard) then back to Zoom in Rebirth.
Eobard's lightning was red in classic comics, black in new 52 and red again in rebirth.
PS : Reverse Flash's other name is Professor Zoom not only Zoom (except in new 52)

He is The God Of Motion and btw he said it multiple times,his suit enhances the speed so it isn't really artificial or natural or part of Savitar

Now for CBvTW finalized speedster lightning theory at the end, I want to add some things to it. The speedsters who use V9, I think their lightning becomes blue whenever they start running at a speed that their normal powers can't directly support with the amount of energy they need to be using to go as fast as they do, and so the V9 kicks in to be the main source of energy for their speed, and starts making their speed that they already have more efficient, by pumping more energy into your speed from yourself, and not the source of your powers, with the downside of adding oxidative reactants to your cells, which starts to kill you. You may ask what does that mean by oxidative reactants, it means that the V9 has the unfortunate effect of speeding up what naturally happens to a person as they grow old. Oxidative reactants are formed naturally by the mitochondria, and they pile up as a person gets older. The mitochondria make they as a by product of all the energy they produce for eukaryotes(the types of cells that use mitochondria), this is the benefit to these cells in the form of more energy, but the downside of having these oxidative reactants build up as the cell grows older. You may ask what's so bad about these oxidative reactants, well, they eventually prevent a cell from replicating because they dis-configure the cells DNA a little bit with each one that's made, that is why eukariotic organisms can't live forever, because when you have enough of these oxidative reactants build up, their DNA eventually can't replicate because it's been changed so much. And why does the V9 make the lightning of everyone who uses it blue you may ask, because that's the color wavelength that comes off of the V9's energy spectrum(and yes, oxidative reactants and the energy spectrums of things are real things in science, I'm a studying to get my bachelors of science in biology and physics, and every element and chemical in the universe has a color wavelength that comes off of their energy spectrum when reacting with something).
As for the purple, I think it is just to early to tell at this point, but if anything, I'd have to say maybe it just comes down to if everyone got speed powers the exact same way, and they all had the exact same connection, I don't think they would all have the same color, like, Barry got yellow/orange/red-ish because that's how the dark matter was showing itself due to intertwining itself with his DNA, and Iris's and the Accelerated Man's lightning is purple because that's how the dark matter was showing itself due to intertwining itself with their DNA.
Also, Nora's lightning, it was purple and yellow because that's how the dark matter was showing itself after intertwining itself with her DNA, or because with Melting Pot's powers, which unzip a meta's DNA and take's out the their dark matter that was intertwined with their DNA, probably weren't completely perfect, as DNA pairing and replication rarely is, you can get quite a few mistakes even just zipping someones DNA back together, or just from one pairing to the next in normal cell division and DNA replication, and his powers might have left some dark matter intertwined in Iris's DNA, not enough for her to have powers, but enough to put a competing version of speed powers into the mix, and so another color into the mix.

And 2 years later, my theory about Melting Pot and him leaving some speedster Dark matter in Iris's DNA is proven true with the Speedforce as Nora giving everyone a boost, including Iris apparently

It’s not natural. his suit is from farther in the future than Savitars so it’s more slimed down but still contains amounts of the metal Savitar used (the gold parts) and the metal is what reacts with lightning to make it white. Or at least that’s what I thought

On you're take on godspeed I believe that he got his ass handed to him because as we all saw in that episode it was his first appearance. In that future there was no reports of a speedster with white lightning or a speedster in central city for that matter. Its possible he might have just gotten his powers with those tacyons you where talking about. I believe he was fast but as we have seen speed isn't the only factor that determines who wins a speedster battle. Nora was not fast and was a newbie I think we can agree on that but she was being guided by Eobard thawne which is one of the most intelligent and experienced speedsters in all the show. So that's my theory on why Nora won the fight but also that that doesn't dissmiss the chance of he becoming as strong as the godspeed from the comics.

Savitar's lightning had a slight skyblue tinting to it while inside the suit, it wasn't pure white like Godspeed's lightning. Future Barry who was already Savitar never took V9, but his suit was made of metal. Perhaps Savitar's suit had a built-in tachyon enhancement for the wearer which would explain the white-ish color. The blue-ish tinting possibly being because of the blue lights of the suit, although to my mind, it shouldn't be related.

Maybe the tachyons were used to stabilize his cells for the V9 so he could go white lightning fast without his cells falling apart and maybe he really used enough V9 for blue lightning but the tachyons made him slightly faster which would explain the change for blue he would slow down a bit at the tachyons wore off and therefore become more unstable
He uses a future version of v9, but he never uses too much of it and he stabilizes himself with tachyons.
Allowing himself to be pushed further to where his lightning would be blue but it's stays stable with tachyon infused v-9,
For me personally I liked godspeed both his suit and lighting color were amazing and his theme was the icing on the 🎂

When nora and the captain were going over godspeed’s file and in his file it said he was testing with tachyons on 17 coma patients, it suddenly made sense why we saw 5 godspeeds in season 6 lol
