I was confused at first but after rewatching the episode a couple times I understood. And it makes sense: basically he can make a speed mirage, but not one that can be on two earths at once

He can, people just thought that his "Even I'm not that fast" line meant that he couldn't. But he meant that he can't make a speed mirage from 1 Earth to another.
Because both versions of him Zoom and Jay need to interact with the people and environment around him for the ruse to work, a speed mirage can't do that it's just an after image.

Wally has a more spiritual connection to the speed force which is why he can do things other people can’t. Barry’s connection to the speed force is more science based

I was last night like he posts so randomly but he has a lot of math to do so I respect it
It's quite simple actually.
Speed mirage is just an after image. It own it's own can't move or do anything. When Thawne was 'trapped' he was changing the after images position continuously which maybe easy to do in a small area. BUT for Hunter he had completely different emotions than 'Jay' which definitely would be hard for him and maybe even for Thawne. And doing THAT while traveling between Earths is probably impossible for anyone.
So, now there are 2 reasons why he didn't use a Speed Mirage: To make your speed mirage even blink you have to be continuously changing it. And second reason is even if Zoom was fast enough to constantly change his Speed Mirage's position it would be impossible while travelling between Earths.
When Thawne made his speed mirage he did it in combination with a hologram generator, which Cisco later finds out.

Also consider that it's infinitely harder to make a speed mirage against a Speedster as they have a heightened perception, you'd had to be able to go faster enough for them to not pick it up in what is basically slo mo

He meant that he could create a speed mirage from Earth 1 to Earth 2. Sorry if I sound repetitive just want to make sure I understand.

I never understood how reverse flash could make a speed mirage when he was beating himself up. Like i get how u can trick other people with an illusion of being two places at a time, but how tf does Thawn create a speed mirage while changing in and out of his suit and back into his Wells clothes??? Especially when there is a speedster with super perception watching you??? On top of all that Thawn was able to beat up himself. That by itself is physically impossible no matter how fast. It is impossible for one speedster to interact with their own speed mirage let alone beat it up. That bit just never mad sense to me.

The whole "changing into the suit and back into his clothes" part, yes, it doesn't make sense, I agree with you, but about beating himself up, he only made it look like he was hitting Wells as Reverse Flash, I'm guessing that while switching places he hit himself at high speed to make himself bleed
I thought Barry wasn’t in the room because Wells and Joe said it was too emotional for Barry to be there. Barry only got there when he got an alert and then he came there to fight reverse flash.

Rewatched entire Flash while waiting for season 7. And from what I can say, rewatching season 3 for second time feels so much better compared to first time. There is also the scene "now who is the villain flash?!" with Thawne in Flashpoint, remember when Thawne said that Barry isnt showing any hints of the man he will "become". In addition to season 3, this hit me as if Savitar lied to Barry entire season. Surely Thawne wouldnt become Barry's biggest enemy just because he couldnt be the Flash, there must be more to it. Just like there has to be more to Savitar. Besides where did he get the suit? Who built it for him? How did Savitar "really" create himself? All questions remain unanswered. I really hope we get more from seasons to come.

For everyone who still doubts that his line: "Even I am not that fast", he said "even", which mean he consider himself as fastest speedster, and even he can't do that. And of course, Cisco direct question was: "Was the fake Jay - speed mirage"? And Hunter said no, and his answer means that nobody can create speed mirage between two earths to impersonate different person.

I think the best way to make everybody happy is to admit that Reverse Flash from season one was having trouble with his powers and was likely Nowhere near his normal top speed.... As he directly stated that in the future he and future Berry are "opposites, rivals, reverses of one another" and that "neither of us was strong enough to defeat the other"
So reverse Flash in his prime would be MUCH faster than zoom But as we saw him in season one he is ample reason to be afraid when he sees zoom's jay Garrick helmet...

Well... I have always thought that the famous Reverse Flash 's "speed mirage" was a lie that Thawne told to Cisco to hide the fact that a Speedster can create Time remanents just to avoid Barry would have discovered that trick and discovered his escape plan that was to fake his death to run and hide in Earth X... think about it: in flash 2x11 Barry gave a spoiler to Eobard about his death and Thawne answered "good to know" so if Eobard knows about his future death in that period of time he perfectly could have created a Time remanent who replaced him as Harrison Wells just to fake that he and Reverse Flash were two different people, so the original Eobard kicked his time remanent' s ass and later lied to Cisco saying "oh that was a speed mirage" so after that, the Time remanent/Harrison Wells finally died in S1 finale and the original Eobard just ran to Earth X. But the question here is if Reverse Flash was fast enough in S1 to go back in time and make a time remanent to do what I am speculating or not

Question. In the season 1 episode whereralph is named dropped when the electric guy is at star labs wells is talking about barry's heavy reliance on speed. When he is at cc jitters how did the coffe machine work fast enough to supply all those other customers. And I know there are countless other occurences where machinery moves at the same speed as barry so can we do a top speed video for the coffee maker or any other instances you can think of

I know that the video im talking about is old but in your Savitar origin explained video you say that team flash rejects/shuns barrys time remnant for no reason. I thought that too. Why would they shun someone who is practically barry? Well in i think crisis on earth x(im not sure) they find a message from barry in the future saying to not trust himself. After they find out savitars identity they explain the message was talking about him(savitar). They rejected savitar because barry from the future knew he would become savitar.

Personally I think reverse flash is faster then zoom. I think the last episode of season 1 was like a warm up for the RF. He hasn’t used his powers in years before that point that’s why I think he was so slow when him and berry fought. Also like you said he’s been powering himself for a while using the wheelchair. Once they figure out who the RF was he couldn’t use the chair for a good few episodes
Please do a prediction-video on if Harry wells and the rest of the wells’s that have existed will return in season 7 of the flash, the particles that Nash talked about seems to suggest that there is a way to restore all the wells back so will they come in season 7 of the flash, what are your thoughts?

The line is talking about zoom not being fast enough to create a speed Maroge between earths while changing outfits from his earth to flash outfit and his earth to zoom outfit while having to talk to Tim flash
No speedster is faster than the cameraman though
One thing I can't seem to figure out is why a speed mirage is ever a good combat decision. Trickery and deceit? Yeah for sure. But in a fight if you are fast enough to move back and forth between 2 or more locations to seem like you are standing in multiple places at once then you are already fast enough to overcome your opponents reaction speed so the mirage is redundant as you can already speed blitz them.
