Sinestro was a Green Lantern when he took control of his homeworld, which he kept for years before he was ejected from the Corps, so this is basically the same thing.
Maybe it’s like Batman where he has enough willpower to make the ring do what he wants

@@SouthDraftCorp Don't listen to him, everything is welcomed here. Hell he even did a vid about Sonic's Speed and Pokemon talking, so clearly even games franchises are in the table. And I'd love to see the Luke Cage or Iron Fist one.
That being said, I'm pretty sure about 55%-70% are videos about DC, and specially related to the Flash/Speedsters, not really Marvel (Or at least in the last 2 years).
So yeh, this is not an exclusive DC channel, given that he covers all sorts of topics, but DC has a bigger presence in the channel xd
I feel Sinestros origin, in the comics, would give grounds for GL having his ring taken.
Sinestros effectively did the same thing as the justice lords to his own world.
Granted, the guardians didn't actually notice this. They only took action when Hal Jordan reported it.
So I think they just didn't notice. After all like you said, earth was relatively peaceful. No one on the galactic stage would notice anything off about it.
But if thy had noticed, the guardians likely would have taken Johns ring for having a direct and powerful influence on the culture of earth.
Definitely should have a yellow ring but seeing as how the yellow core didn’t exist and also another confusing thing is that I’m pretty sure the rings are unable to kill with a few expectations and if he was ruling by fear it would definitely catch the attention of the guardians like it did in injustice
The justice lords guardians maybe more morally ambigious. So as long as john stewart doesn't go full evil psycho meglomanic it might be cool.
the only reason they paid attention in Injustice was because A Politics were being changed and B he was teaming with Sinestro. Pretty sure the guardians keep tabs on one of their biggest enemies.
Speaking as a Transformers fan I really appreciated the 86 movie reference. Now I'm thinking Michael Rosenbaum would make a great Hotrod/Rodimus.
Batman can use both a Green and Yellow Lantern ring.
just imagine him duel wielding those rings.
he would probably be stronger than Sinestro using either the Yellow or Green Ring, but weaker than Sinestro if Sinestro were to also dual wield (dual-wielding Sinestro needed the combined might of Hal Jordan and Alan Scott to beat him) and Bruce's lack of experience with the lantern rings as well as how physically and mentally draining a single ring can be would probably end with Bruce being out willed by any experienced above-average lantern.
Wouldn't that be pretty destructive for him. Since fear is the opposite of will it could cause irreversible brain damage for bats.

also to my knowledge of the series, Justice Lord John doesn't actually Fear anything. Injustice Universe Hal did which was Superman. That's the main reason why Somebody like said Natasha Romanoff From the MCU won't be a Yellow Lantern lol.

In comics and cartoons there were moments where villains used green lantern ring. And most controversial is Dawnbreaker - Dark Metal version of Batman/Green Lantern, he corrupted his ring and still was able to use it. And don't forget Sinestro who used force (not lethal) to enslave his homeworld to bring peace to it. And it was only one time when Guardians even decided to interfere.

I think it would make sense and would be cool if he was a red lantern in this since the Injustice universe is more about fear than judging the villains. Since the red lanterns are about anger and vengeance and them killing villains would be subjecting them to all the pain and suffering they brought onto others then he would be using the red rings emotions

Hey so i've been rewatching season 1 of the flash, and I just realized that the first time Barry travelled back in time (when trying to stop the Tsunami, in s1 episode 15 and 16) there was only 1 flash/Barry. While in other episodes when he goes back in time, it results in their being multiple versions of him in one time line, (the past one and the present one that travelled back) But in this episode, we only see one of him when he goes back, the one that travelled back, and there isn't any confusion or drama with their being 2 Barry's in one timeline. I was just wondering why this is, and why other times he travels back there are always 2 versions of himself. Is it because he somehow merged into himself or something??? Or jump into his past body??? Or does it have something to do with the fact he saw what was thought to be a speed mirage of himself at the start of the episode??? I genuinely have no clue, and can't figure it out on my own, and all I can come up with are these insane theories, so please could you make a video about this xD. Thankssss.
Great video. While what you state in the video is true, you did miss one thing about the Lantern Rings, what powers them. Yellow rings are powered by the wielders ability to instill fear in people, much like how Green rings are powered by the wielders Willpower, so while he doesn't seem to have broken any of the Green Lantern rules per se, it's likely being part of the Justice Lords he is able to make people fear him, and so because of that it's likely a Yellow ring would have tried to find him.
I think he should get a yellow interlink cuz he does display some of the aspects of the of the sinestro core.

This may sound like a stupid question but why in the show do meta human dampeners affect people like Eobard Thawne and Godspeed? They didn't get their speed by the particle accelerator explosion giving them the meta human gene (IDK about eobard)
the Meta Gene is just that, a Gene, meaning it's part of the genetic structure of the character. Basically, think of it like the X-Gene from Marvel's X-Men, it's something that they have from birth and just needs some sort of stressor or incident to occur to make the gene activate and not something they get from the incident or whatever.
I would have liked to see John as a yellow lantern or at least any yellow lantern in the DCAU. Great video!

I think It has more to do with willpower and how In his mind he was doing the right thing. Like the saying goes the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I think if he had killed depending on how and who he might have lost the ability to use the ring but since he didn't and he believed what he was doing was for the good of mankind he got to keep the ring he has.

IIRC the show itself actually kinda answers this, Velocity X, basically, he is normally Yellow Lightning, but Velocity X turns Speedster lightning Blue, and IIRC it's stated that he's been dosing himself with a version of that as Zoom. It's been a while since I've seen season 2, so I might be a bit incorrect, but I remember something like that being the case.

@@taekwondotrainer6982 It's likely in those instances he purposefully isn't taking it, so that it doesn't look blue. Not to mention, if he is truly a Speedster (the comic version of him isn't/wasn't, he was basically just manipulating time around him to give off the appearance of being a Speedster) as seen with Barry their metabolism is really fast, so any drugs or alcohol or whatever in their system would burn off fairly quickly, meaning that the Blue would only be lasting for a bit.
The way the (JUSTICE LORD) GreenLantern aka (John Stewart) behaves; Yes to me he seems like he doesn’t deserve to be a GREEN-LANTERN anymore, but instead I think he deserves to be YELLOW-LANTERN.

Using his Green Lantern ring to become a dictator is how Sinestro got kicked out of the corps. Why wouldn't John also suffer the same punishment for doing the same thing?
I don't think he would've been a Yellow Lantern, Yellow is fear, and the point of the Justice Lords and Injustice is that the heros *aren't* afraid of holding back or crossing lines for the mission so that would make a Yellow ring useless, if anything a Red ring would make more sense as it was all started by Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman enraged by Flash's death so they killed Lex for killing Flash, and that rage would fuel a Red ring. And the only reason that Hal has a Yellow ring in injustice is because Sinestro came to Earth to seek a alliance with Superman and then green Lantern core came to Earth to arrest Superman and Sinestro and Hal sided with Superman causing a fight to break out, in the fight Hal's ring was taken by a guardian and as he feel to his death as he was flying in the air prior to losing his ring Sinestro sent a ring to him and his fear of death was what powered it
Yes, the Yellow ring is powered by fear, however it's slightly different than you think, it's not powered by your own personal fear, it's powered by the fear you instill in others. That's why in the War of Light storyline Scarecrow was deputized as a Yellow Lantern, because of his ability to make people fear.

I don't think him keeping his green lantern ring is a problem. The whole point of this episode is that the Justice Lords weren't clear-cut villains. They were tyrants, but they were still well-intentioned. Everything they did was for the good of Earth and the safety of its people. They weren't killing anybody if they didn't have to, not even the villains. I imagine that the Guardians of Oa would look at Justice Lords Earth from afar and think John Stewart was doing an excellent job. These were the guys who were employing the Manhunters, after all.
The kind of crap Sinestro was doing in the name of his version of "the greater good" is way, way worse than anything the Justice Lords would've countenanced. Sinestro made psychic torture of dissidents the cornerstone of his governing philosophy, and his followers were a bunch of sadistic monsters and sociopaths. It's a bit unfair to compare the Justice Lords to the Sinestro Corps.

It's long,very long, but I hope it's worth the read.
I was watching one of your old videos about earth 1 Supergirl... We have seen or heard about batman being on bothe supergirl's earth as well and flash's earth. After the crisis, the earth's came together and the heroes on earth prime thought that the multiverse didn't exist anymore, which they were wrong about. If it didn't the DCEU wouldn't have existed. It was made to look like they had been together since the beginning. So are there like two Batman's in earth prime or the two of them have become one as it goes with every other human or non human.
Also, we heard Well, tell everyone that there are 52 earth, which layer turned out to be wrong but was later clarified, so could it be that Kara Danvers and Clark Kent on the Flash's earth are just normal people or their Krypton had somehow survived and they didn't need to come to earth. The arrowverse is crazy. Another thing, one of the DC comics head had said that the entire DC franchise, the comics, the shows, the movies, the games were all part of the same multiverse. And we know that the Avengers and the Justice League had a crossover in the comics way back. Now if the comics are connected to the shows and movies, and the marvel comics is connected to the shows and movies, does that mean, we can assume that the DC and MARVEL are part of the same multiverse, and their paths haven't collided yet, with the mainstream DC universe but have with the comics one which is also a part of the multiverse including games and movies and tv show. We might get a crossover in the far future, considering that the MCU has evidence for the multiverse. And if the DC comics and shows are related, a crisis happened way back in the past (comics), and a crisis happened now, which were two totally different things. Does that mean that the multiverse including marvel has faced two multiversaral crisis, and during the herald of thunder comics, The DC heroes can be clearly seen. So every event, wherever it happens is connected to each of the universes.

And we know that Superboy prime's universe is a universe where the heroes are comic characters, like our universe, so the multiverse must exist in our universe as well

Several things to go along with your video one we don't know where they're the Justice Lords Universe has their own Blue Man Group Guardians of the universe 2 different Green Lantern rings and different universes have different rules for instance the Green Lantern ring from the crime syndicate of America feeds off the fear of the person who wilted and basically takes control of them overtime 3 John and she said is probably within the oath of the Green Lanterns but keep in mind how long it took for them to realize the Sinestro had it centrally made himself a dictator of his home World. It wasn't still Hal Jordan rage protest that the Guardians even glanced over korgur to see if Sinestro was keeping the peace properly.
