Adaptive Athlete tries 21.1 non adaptive version.
Having done and submitted the 21.1 adaptive workout within my category I couldn't resist trying the non adaptive movements. Everyone chatting about wall works had me well intrigued.
A couple of near face plants and some skipping frustration!

Having not paddled white water in 9/10 years, what could be more sensible than for me and Steve to book in for the morning (4 cumecs building to 6 cumecs) and afternoon (8 cumecs) slots at CIWW and hoped old skills would come flooding back. What could possibly go wrong.

Didn’t get started til late so put together a quick but taxing EMOM to work some skills but also get the HR sky high! Was a fun session. Felt like a good amount of work for 20 minutes.

Friday night push/pull

Just a quick upper body push/pull session! wasnt in the headspace to plan anything fancy so a bit of an old school push session. Nice and brainless but a good amount of volume to go into the weekend with. Some rows, some bench press and the a quick pounding of the arms. Simple but effective.

Just a quick workout in the home gym. I consider myself really fortunate to have a decent home gym set up in my garage. A scaled and an RX version of today’s lockdown challenge. All you need is a wall (and some clean trainers if you’re doing it inside). Wall planks/wall plank press ups! Get your feet well planted on a flat wall and press hard to keep body position for a maximal hold. If your levelling up, work on some Press ups once you’re there. Have a go! The workout was 500 kettlebell swings, but every 50 reps you do; -10 press ups -20 Body Weight Squats -20 Butterfly sit Ups Got a few questions about the workout so I thought id get them answered in a quick video and give some ideas for different scale options. Hope its helpful!
