White water kayaking at Cardiff International White Water course

Having not paddled white water in 9/10+ years, what could be more sensible than for me and Steve to book in for the morning (4 cumecs building to 6 cumecs) and afternoon (8 cumecs) slots at CIWW and hoped old skills would come flooding back. What could possibly go wrong.
