For more than 30 years, singer/songwriter Aster Aweke has been entertaining audiences across the globe. Her songs have become anthems to her fans in Ethiopia, as well as to Ethiopians living abroad, and she continues to win the hearts and minds of world music lovers. "Ewedihalehu" (I Love You), her 24th album, was produced with her longtime arranger, Abegasu Kibrework Shiota, and also features the work of exciting new music producers, Henock Negash, and Maru. This electrifying album is sure to delight long-time and new fans alike.
With the release of her many albums - including Aster, Kabu, Ebo, Aster Aweke Live in London, Hagerë, Sugar, Aster’s Ballads, Fikir, and Checheho - Aster has topped both the Billboard and College Music Journal’s (CMJ) specialist charts. Kabu reached and remained at the #1 position for four weeks on the CMJ New World music chart and was in the Top 10 for five consecutive charts (10 weeks) on Billboard’s World Music chart.

I heard this music around 1978 when I was elementary school in Ethiopia, shewa at Shenno small city which I was graduated in 1985 E C So I'm listening this music every time on CZcams here in USA I left my Ethiopian 20 years ago.
