I've been saying this for years, just as men objectify women, women objectify love. They want "love". They want "a marriage". They want to be "a wife". They want these things and see these things... as THINGS. OBJECTS. Things they can show their girlfriends, mothers, sisters, and peers. The actual person that these things depend on is secondary to them, and that's why they repeat disaster over and over again because all they really seek out is a good enough placeholder. You have to find THE PERSON first. You have to find someone TO love before you can expect love to be in your life. These things you say you want have to be built around the person you want these things with. If you want to be with THE PERSON more than you want A LIFE, then you will gladly sacrifice part of your selfish, unrealistic desires because that's what it means to actually love someone and that's what it takes to last. (and I'm not saying ALL women are like this ladies, but it is a common female pathology)
