As someone who has lost over 100 pounds, I am proudly fatphobic and will never allow myself to be that mentally, physically, and spiritually sick again. All of the health issues I’ve had were resolved after losing weight. It is not healthy.

I recently came to the decision that I will no longer comment on diatribes by the woke crowd on “being fat, fat phobic, overweight, grossly overweight, and so on. I’ve been all over the place in those controversial discussions. With weirdness in medical side effects popping up a lot today, listing side effects/causes of illnesses and products, some being prone to deep obesity. On the other side of the fence, there is the “woke” crowd making outrageous comments about how judgementel “skinny” folks are, and that they are fat-phobic They should be banished from life for being so crass.
My opinion is mine. To accuse me of all sorts of nefarious things based on “their” interpretation of my opinion is not acceptable. You can disagree to certain aspects of my opinion, but you will not nor can you tell I can’t have that opinion ever. me from that opinion.
Just me but I’d like TIKTOK gone. That social media site is very strange, many subscribers having no real, provable educational or job-related connection to the fields they try to teach or expound on. Sad!

I don't understand why 'fatphobic' is a slur. Of course I am fatphobic. I have always been fatphobic. I don't want to be fat. I don't want to get fat. I had a fat aunt who died at 61 and was basically restricted to a chair for the last 10 years of her life. Yes, I am fatphobic. And proud of it.

I am fatphobic. My Mom has been obese my whole life. Never in my life did we ever do any physical activity together. We never rode bikes, never swam (She can't swim), never hiked or ran or even played ball. Her fatness prevented her from living life to her fullest. She couldn't connect with the rest of the family due to emotional turmoil caused by her obesity. It sucks incredibly.

I spent almost thirty years in the fitness industry, helping people transform their bodies. Turns out exercise and healthy diet can be great stress reducers, as well as improving brain function. It didn't pay much, but it was exhilarating watching people get healthy and have fun doing it. I watched a lot of people become successful in other areas as they made good changes in their lives.
That would take too much work and require too much self-awareness and honesty. It'd be easier if society would just embrace the fatness.

Just so you know there are some metabolic conditions that make a body highly resistant to weight loss. Eating less and exercising more are not always the answer.

I’ve had severe allergies and asthma since I was 5. I weight lift 4x a week and do cardio 2 or 3 times a week and don’t complain about it.
People of all shapes and sizes usually have no problem finding someone because they are more than their physical appearance. The real problem is the attitude of the person. No one wants to spend any significant time with people who have horrible attitudes.

I was on Tik Tok for a couple months and hated 70 percent of the content. People like her with their face right in the camera spewing something ignorant, the worst were the ones who would be crying. The only content I liked were the animal videos and 5 percent of creators who had cool content
I have seen many "animals being cute" thumbnails on CZcams, and so many interesting videos too about real things - I have never been on TikTok and agree that you don't need to use the yukky Tic Tok at all. I would never allow a child to be on Tik Tok OR on online without them being supervised. Regards.

Of all the fake phobias and wrongful use of the word, fatphobic actually does scare me as it literally kills people. I'm not looking to go talk trash about someone, unless they start it first, but a fat person's existence doesn't bring me fear rather myself or loved ones becoming fat as it will drastically shorten their life. So I don't think it wise to condone or encourage people to be obese.

Being fat Phobic is what helped me lose weight. I’m grateful that one of my fat phobic friends told me I was fat and how this was affecting my personal life. That helped me realize I had a hormonal imbalance that wasn’t allowing me to lose weight no matter how hard I tried. Now I’m being treated for it, I’m 20lbs lighter and I am thankful for my phobia which inspires me to continue losing more. If I didn’t have fat phobia and fat phobic friends, I would have continued gaining weight and being morbidly obese and unhealthy.
They told us for decades, that you love who you love. That sexual attraction can’t be rained in, or controlled. Now they are telling us that’s not true and just those of us on the right, need to control their desires and sexual attraction for equity?
I jog every morning, go to the gym and look what I am eating to keep myself in shape and I am 50 years old. Why do I need to date someone who do not care about themselves. If you do not even care about yourself, how will you care for anyone else?
Also, you have to think about the future medical costs of being in a relationship with someone who has serious weight issues. The strain of health problems has tested the strongest of relationships. How much more so with someone who refuses to make the changes necessary to minimise risk for obesity-related illness?

I've always been irritated by the fact that a shirt made with 4 yards of material that takes up more space for shipping, more weight and more retail space- costs the same as a shirt made from 1 yard of material. They shouldn't cost the same!!!! My small- medium should be HALF the price of a 3XL!!! 1 avocado is cheaper than 4!!! Someone please make this make sense!!! 2XL - 5XL should be priced accordingly!!! We need to also start selling clothing by weight like produce!!! Maybe that would incentivise the biggies to cut back on the snackie cakes!!!
Just because we judge, and I absolutely judge behavior, does not mean you do not believe in 'live and let live'. For instance, I judge a lot of food as being truly d1sgust1ng, like seafood or mushrooms, but I don't think I have a right to stop others from indulging in their behavior.

She has a bad attitude. I've heard about "fat phobia" for a while. I've heard it from Lizzo. But, I don't recall men claiming it. Most men I know who are overweight hold themselves accountable. My husband has gained some weight. But, we've been married for almost 24 years and I love him just as much. And he's trying to make more healthy choices like having a salad before dinner and bringing protein snacks to work instead of the vending machine.

Let’s see her speaking about fat phobia when she’s 70 has dementia, and her kids refuse to take care of her because she’s so obese and they’re breaking their backs to change her diaper. These individuals forget they’ll age and get older. Carrying all the extra weight, makes it harder on the individuals that have to provide care. To me, it’s just being selfish only living for the moment not taking into consideration that you will get older and if you do have children, why would you put that burden on them to care for you when you chose to-be obese through out your life. Care taking of parents is no joke.

They don’t think about it all day long, they aren’t slaving away, counting all the calories, exercising everyday, ect.
The more time passes, the more I feel the terms "ANTI" anything, "Phobic" anything or actually compliments. The terms are overused to the point they hold no weight anymore.
