@@TheRandomguy225 So are you saying that I can never be indigenous to a land (regardless of the fact that my family have been here for six or seven generations) because colonisation was part of the history of this land? Using your logic, you could argue that Aboriginal Australians were not indigenous because they entered this land through southern Asia. Should we simply ignore the lack of historical records and inability to keep and maintain an accurate history as an excuse to just say "fuck it, you guys have been here forever." Pretty weak argument if you ask me.
The longer people keep whinging and whining about things in the past (a lot of which had a net positive on their society - what was the life expectancy in Australia pre-1788?), the less likely they are to adapt and thrive in modern society. How many people do you think would abandon modern western civilisation to go back to a life of a Stone Age hunter gatherer?

More broadly, I hate our politicians, hate the majority of our universities and am disgusted in the vast majority of our police force due to their heinous behavior during all the pandemic insanity. Matt you're quite right, "we" voted these fools in to power, "we" accepted the draconian measure they then forced upon us, "we" were complicit in all of it. As Australians, we need to take a cold, hard look at ourselves before it's too late. This country is full of politicians, but no leaders.

Voting time is just a shit show of finger pointing between the parties . Do you really think that we as a population would allow Albanese in , knowing he will give immigration to people by the thousands , that are brainwashed into radicalist Ideals , supporting terrorist regime's on our soil and creating division amongst our communities ? Not a hope in hell would we knowingly vote in this threat to our public safety or National security onto our soil . We cannot blame or be blamed for this ourselves.
