Men always say women are "too emotional" but look at this comments section. These are primarily men, all up in their feelings. The difference is that the kinds of emotions on display are things like "anger, condescension, derision, arrogance", and for some reason men don't seem to understand that those ARE emotions and that they have almost no control over them.
And every time a male member of congress - or a man anywhere at any time - does something idiotic it's always "Oh, that man is a moron". Whenever a woman does something idiotic it's always "See? That's just how women are".
It is not that "women shouldn't be in congress", it is that THOSE women shouldn't be. But the problem is that an intelligent, quality woman, and one that would be fit to be a representative, would be more likely to be the kind of woman who would choose to be a wife and a mother. So we get power hungry bimbos running instead.

Secondly, the assertion wasn't that MTG knew nothing. It was a tactful way of telling her to either get to the point and link it to the actual discussion or stop bringing up irrelevant things... Which is fair.
Thirdly, that was fully understood by everyone so it's not a matter of differing definitions of fair. Why else would MTG have resorted to the personal attack? She knew it was irrelevant, didn't like being called out on it, and acted accordingly.

linda....Unfortunately women have always been poor performers in leadership positions, men do not "dominate", it is women who fall short and the next two ladies I will mention prove the point that men do NOT stop women achieving IF they are qualified. It is a rare historic event to have a woman as a great leader.
In more modern times Margaret Thatcher, Prime Minister of the UK was one and Golda Meyer, Prime Minister of Israel was another, they both dealt calmly and effectively with serious crises, they are women to be admired regardless of your political ideologies. If a woman is truly a leader she will be chosen for that job.
Stop always looking to be a victim and become the best you can be young lady. Women are NOT dominated by men, they do not come up to the mark in certain areas - yet modern women throw away the areas where they have been admired and praised and loved since time immemorial.
Women will not earn respect for thriving in fields "dominated" by men until they can compete fairly without affirmative action & DEI quotas.
