Congrats Sam!
LET'S GO SAM
Congrats Sam! Great play and brilliant tactics.
congratulations Sam! love your channel
The return of our hero! I'm happy for your first win, I love attacks against the kann
Great game ! A good prep, some brilliant ideas, long calculations, a clean conversion. Wasn't that difficult after all 😂
Well done Sam!
I love how you just ingnored all of his attacks and didnt care about winning the rook
Get him out of there :)😍
Great game and great video! One question: at 5:14 you say that Qg4 is a computerish move. While I agree It's less natural than taking on g7, why do you think it's so unintuitive?
Good Q: I'm probably a bit biased because I know it's a computer move, but I think there's a strong inclination to DO something when I've saced and feel time is pressing. Qg4 is fairly patient which doesn't trouble computers, but I think almost any human choosing not to retake the piece would want to capture on g7 unless they see ...Nb4!!
Wow! Speechless. And happy to see you back again!
Cheers! It's been hard to find time to work on CZcams with a young family, but I hope to find more time :)
@@sam_copeland I understand, Sam. But if you'll ever have the time to create a new series: "Best games of the 2020's", then you already got one game... 🙂
GG Sam !! Thanks for sharing. Very cool attack with that opposite castling, always fun to see those ideas of claiming space early on :) I guess after g5-h4 he couldn't hope for more than a draw already.
Well, he can always hope I'll mess up, but it's certainly tough for him!
Oh how the chess community have missed you Don't stop uploading!
🤞
Really this game is a GREAT GLORY FOR TOPALOV 🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬
Oh Sam !! Oh Sam! This position is so famous. I have seen it in my life 100 times in diffrent magazines, books and Internet!
Excellent video.
Any way you could have flipped the board, so we can see this from the black player's perspective?
Hot wings guy?
My opinion. Very well played Sam. Positionally, Black has collapsed like a house of cards. Black had no counterplay, that was his main problem. This also shows why c5 - c4 needs to be considered very carefully. Black had zero counterplay, that was the main problem. Congratulations on this positional win. And you are right, the black king must be on the queenside! The short castle of Black looks horrible to me. A very instructiv game! Please share more of your game!
But much more interesting than this position, which already is lost for Black is to explain the mistakes before what Kortschnoi made. Sam you should make another video with the whole game!
Such a beautiful combination. Congratulations on Sam Copeland !!
Tactical points was very easy to see. I saw all the rooks sacrifices and bishop sacrifices immediatly
fantastic game
Instead of Nimzowitsch Nh1, Stockfish suggest Rfb1!!, or a2-a3!! or h2-h3!! Great moves by Stockfish
Capablanca was a legend
Pacman
Great game and great presentation. I watched you cover a few games (Korchnoi Udovcic and I think Bagirov Gufeld) some years ago and now I think I’ll watch the rest :D. Thanks!
Please fix these videos so that the board isn't covered by Closed Captioning, thumbs up, like/dislike buttons...
Karpov, instructive as always.
YEAHHH BABY!!
Does anyone know what happened to jrobychess? He was one of the first and was extremely good. He also sounded like a thoroughly good chap. I hope all is well with him.
Amazing! Thanks for sharing
Why dont black queen take the bishop?
I wish I had a voice like that...the Chess is nice too
Enjoyed your explanation. Thank you
!Excelente!
It's magic how Tal's pieces just flow to life after Rc5.
10:56 it's not only pinned but also Fischered
cool game . my friend say that he used pattern in his similar game .
15:20 I'll take Kf7+
07:49 Well, that, of course, is a no-brainer: the man who postulates it by himself, enters the 7th rank with his rook!! 07:57 WHAT? Traitor of his own cause..
The 1600's i've played against in tourny's would have gone qe1 on move 27
Earlier I somehow won a game playing the damiano because he didn't sac the knoght
