Hello, Parris! These are Detolf cabinets from Ikea. They have since been discontinued, but there are some very comparable ones on their site that you can find pretty easily.

I was going to do that to begin with, then I decided I didn't want anything too permanent, so I used rigging tape on the interior to hold it together for display. Hello, Chris. I have not. I have paid attention to the company for several years, and they have really gotten huge since I first started following them. However, I have never purchased from them for two reasons. First, most of their helmets are of more obscure clones and clone variants, and I just wasn't in the market for those. Second, their helmets always just a looked a little "off" to me. They look good, and I hear the quality is great, but they just hit my eye wrong. So, consequently, I don't have any of their helmets.

Hello, Jessica. The batteries power two things on this helmet, both in the viewfinder: when inserted, and the viewfinder is lowered, there are two LED lights that flash on the front of the viewfinder. Also, the interior of the viewfinder lights up to make it look like a digital display. This is accessed by sliding out the plastic baffle, simultaneously making it see-through as well. also, I personally like this helmet scale better than the black series ones... idk, I always felt the black series ones were too big on people's heads, and having this one slightly smaller is more appealing to me... im debating getting this one, or waiting and hoping they release a generic trooper with this mold... im doing a display of the progression of trooper helmets, and all im missing is a Phase 2 clone, Scout Trooper, and First Order TK...

Yeah, Andrew, I was trying to demonstrate that I think most of the fandom thinks there is more purple on this helmet than utilized here. And yeah, although it has that huge gap on the sides, I think the bevel in the visor and the smaller shape are definitely more accurate to the CGI clones we saw in the films. Ryan! Always good to see you my friend. And yeah, this is definitely an entirely different animal than the Hasbro helmets we are used to for sure. I was a bit surprised by that. I figured it would just be a Hasbro contract job or something. But, as you saw, it's entirely different construction. I'm glad the video helped a little as well. And I am out of space also. I had to store away a helmet to make room for this one on the shelves for a while. Rotating helmets. It's what my life has been reduced to! haha!

I personally at a cross roads on wether to sell some things to make room or stop buying most things in general. I know I don’t like that most of my collection is in storage were it isn’t getting any use/admiration. I guess if that is all I am complaining about in life I got it pretty good lol

@@PaulsCollectibles oh alright, and no it’s a traditional black series helmet. I believe they did that on the Disney ones because it accommodates people with larger heads.

I can confirm, Brett, that it does, in fact, display nicely for sure. I used some rigging tape inside to hold it together firmly and it goes nicely with the rest of my clone helmets. And "High Command." I love it! It reminds me of a guy I served with years ago who called his wife "Headquarters." I always got a chuckle out of that! Yeah, that's what I'm finding out, Gforce. Apparently, these Disney helmets are even more for "mass consumption" than the Hasbro ones. I had never owned one before, so it was a learning experience for me for sure! Thanks for checking out the video, sir!

I was a bit taken aback when I pulled the helmet out of the box as this is my first Disney helmet. And that trick with the velcro padding? Brilliant! I ended up using rigging tape inside to hold it firmly in place for display. And yeah, I read the box, and then later checked a CZcams video of the voice effects, but I never was really too excited about the electronic features on these helmets. Consequently, my videos of the Hasbro helmets, and this one, are lacking in details about those. Thank you very much for the great information, the comprehensive comment for checking out my videos. Harold, I pried the top off one of mine once and was terrified the whole time. I used a flat head screwdriver to get in under it and applied steady, firm pressure until one of the hook tabs that anchors it to the bottom piece finally gave way. The rest came out easy after that. I thought for sure I was gonna break it the whole time, though. If you try that method, be slow, methodical and careful for sure!

Thank you for the quick reply and suggestion. I used two LEGO brick separators and managed to get all but the the two front clips free. I was scared I was gonna break it, so I stopped there. It's a really beautiful helmet except for the battery compartment and speaker on the back but it looks great with my Black Series Darth Vader helmet. MTFBWY

I'm sorry to hear that, Joseph. Unfortunately, I am woefully under-qualified to give you an answer on that. When I buy these helmets, it's rare that I even put the batteries in them because most of the electronics inside are of no interest to me. I merely display them without ever wearing them. Consequently, I know nothing about systems, their shelf life, or how to repair them. I do hope you find a solution soon.

Both valid points, Delta! And I agree, despite the slightly lower resting angle of the viewfinder on this one, I do find it to be a minor issue. In fact, I like this setup better than the free-falling viewfinders we get on the Mando helmets. And, as you say, this is a great helmet regardless. I wholeheartedly agree with you, Tiger Claw. As awesome as this helmet is, the one small nitpick I have with it is that it has a slightly matte finish to it and insn't shiny enough.
