Great tour to see where "The Magic Happens"
Thanks, Gforce! I appreciate that. "Magic" is definitely far too kind as I really feel like I've just been bumbling through this CZcams thing for three years now, learning as I go. It's been a fun journey thus far, though. Thanks for stopping by and taking the tour with me!
Very cool Paul! Thanks for the tour
Sean! Always good to see my fellow Arizona collector! And thank you for the kind words. I appreciate you stopping by and taking the tour with me.
Incredible Collection! Excellent Tour! You have one of the Best Star Wars collections on CZcams! Thanks for sharing with us. I was really impressed with the contributions your family has made. The trooper photo book from your wife, the Stormtrooper helmet patent from your daughter, and the channel music from your brother were some of my most favorite parts of the collection. Outstanding Video 😎👍👍
Thank you very much, SteveO! You are far too kind. And I appreciate that you noticed the family aspect of my collection. I've been very lucky in as much as several of those close to me are as excited about the fact that I love collecting the stuff, as I am actually collecting it. I appreciate the importance of that. Thank you for stopping by and taking the tour with me!
Wow Paul. Great to see a room tour buddy. One thing I miss now not having costumes on display. Thanks Paul for sharing.
Thank you very much, Matt! And yeah, I really wish I had more room because I'd like to display both of my Imperial Officer costumes, and my custom-painted Stormtrooper armor. However, as you can see, if I put any more mannequins in here, it'll look like a crowded elevator! haha! Thanks for stopping by and taking the tour with me!
💪🤓 awesome collection.
Thanks, Deano! I appreciate the kind words. And thank you for stopping by and taking the tour with me!
Very nice collection Paul👍🏻 thanks for sharing
Thank you for the kind words, Brian. And I appreciate you stopping by and taking the tour with me!
Thanks for the lighting tip 💪😉
Oh! Nice! I'm flattered to hear my setup gave you some ideas.
Nice setup Paul and great collection, well displayed! Ooh and some Hot Toys!
Those helmets look fantastic, especially the Tie Fighter and AT-AT driver!
Thank you, sir! I appreciate the kind words. And yeah, I bought one, the Artillery Trooper Hot Toy, and was going to stop there. Then I was on the Sideshow Collectibles website one day just perusing and they were having a sale. Next thing you know? BAM! Now I have FOUR Hot Toys! haha! And yeah, the TIE Pilot and AT-AT Driver helmets from Anovos are stunning! They display beautifully. Thanks for stopping by and taking the tour with me!
As someone who has been luck to see/be in this room quite a few times, I’m always in awe of this space and your collection 👌🏻👏🏻 You know how to display so much without it looking out of control. Can’t wait to see your future basement plans when you have more room 😉
Thank you very much, Bailey! I appreciate that! And yeah, when I finally get a TON of room, it's going to be on like Donkey Kong. I'll finally be able to bust out more of the figures and some other items that are currently languishing in plastic totes! Thanks for stopping by and going on the tour (this time in the virtual world) with me!
What the France!! Couple of weeks ago we got a helmet tour...now we're getting a room tour! Freaking awesome!!!
Believe it or not...I too, have never done a room tour! 🤣
So many memories of your videos in there my friend, especially the shadow boxed figures!
You have a great collection Paul. Loved this video!
Right, Shabby?! It's almost like I re-discovered where all my filming equipment was! haha! Truth be told, now that I'm not doing contract work any more, and the fact that it's 116 degrees here in Phoenix, I have a little more time on my hands, inside the house, to do things like this. I'd love to see a tour of your room if you ever decide to do so. You have SO MANY different, cool lines of toys. And you've just reminded me that we have known each other for over three years now. That's crazy! You are one of the longest running active viewers of my channel and the main reason I got involved with all these great people. A lot of what you saw in the tour has an old video that only a few of the "OGs" such as yourself have seen! haha! Thanks for stopping by and taking the tour with! Cheers, sir!
Excellent roomtour full of your amazing star wars helmets 🪖and lightsabers and figures keep collecting paul collectors
Thanks, Mark! One thing, though: I don't have any light sabers! haha! I do appreciate you stopping by and taking the tour with me.
Great studio/room tour Paul! The High Ground is a good name for your collection room/studio since it is upstairs. I still love how those black series trooper shadow boxes look! Definitely need to make one some day! You can definitely tell you're a supporter of the Galactic Empire! 😂 Long Live The Empire! This has to be a yearly video now too Paul! Thanks for sharing buddy!
Thank you very much, Christopher! And yeah, I was on with the Holochronicles a while back and Josh just kind of blurted out the name as a suggestion. It has kind of been the unofficial title of the space ever since. And I stole the idea for the shadow boxes from another guy I saw on CZcams who was doing the same with his vintage figures. It makes a great, classy and unique way to display loose figures, plus you can have a theme for each shadow box as well. Long live the Empire! Thank you for stopping by and taking the tour with me, sir!
Absolutely nice collection, pal!
Thank you very much, Popu! I appreciate that. And thank you also for stopping by and taking the tour with me!
Cool collection room Paul! 😎
Thank you very much, Mister B! I appreciate you stopping by ad taking the tour with me!
Dude!!!! What a tour but so strange I honestly thought the room was much bigger!😮🤷🏻♂️
But you have some exceptional items in your collection Paul, and I run out of superlatives do describe your helmet collection 👌👌👌
And it’s an honour to see the vintage boba fett in your collection and on display, it was my absolute pleasure to send it to you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👍👊
Great look at were the Paul’s collectibles magic happens 👍
Luke! Always a pleasure to see you around these parts. And yeah, I've actually had a couple people in the room, who first saw it on a video and they said the same thing. The magic of cameras and lighting! Am I right?! I took the smallest of the four bedrooms for my studio so Sara could have the rest of the rooms for normal people stuff. haha! And as always, I appreciate your kind words about the helmet collection. I believe 50% of collecting is the display aesthetic. That's why I always have been so fond of you and your channel. You have a TON of stuff, but it is SO neatly displayed and organized that it's a site to behold! Oh, and I had the tall Robocop on display for months, but he kept falling over and off of shelves, so I was worried he was going to break! He is gently packed away and will be featured prominently in the display room of my retirement house, where I will have a much bigger display room with better display solutions. Thanks for taking the tour with me, sir!
@@PaulsCollectiblesno problem at all Paul, was a great look at the room, an no explanation necessary for Robocop, he could be a tad temperamental with balance, I’m sure he’ll enjoy the new room 👍
Stunning collection my friend
Long Live The Empire ✊
Thank you very much, John! I appreciate that. Long live the Empire! Thank you fro stopping by and taking the tour with me as well!
@@PaulsCollectibles 😁👍👍
It’s even better in person!
Thanks, Andy! You are one of the privileged few who has been given the tour in person! haha!
Hey Paul, Thanks for the display/studio Tour I really enjoyed it. I am really digging the shadow box I might have to steal that idea. Having enough room is always the hardest when it comes to displaying a collection. I love the book that the wife made that is freaking awesome. I have quite a few of those space punch cans fyi they taste like shit but make good display pieces. The room looks great thank you for the tour, see you on the next one.
Thank you very much, Ryan! And truth be told, I stole the shadow box idea off a guy I saw do it in another CZcams video. The figures are just attached in with a hot glue gun. This allows me to take them out and pull off the glue should I ever want the figure back in it's regular form. And yeah, I tasted one of those Space Punch cans once and nearly puked! They are DISGUSTING! haha! Thanks for stopping by as always, and for going on the tour with me!
Very cool room tour Paul.. gives me some ideas, especially the figure shadowboxes .. MTFBWY
Thank you so much for the kind words, Cirespeed! I appreciate that. And I am flattered that you may have gotten some ideas from checking out my setup. Thank you for stopping by and taking the tour with me!
I love the set up, Paul. The shadow boxes are a great idea.
Thank you very much, Kiwi Man! And yeah, I enjoy displaying some of the Black Series figures in shadow boxes as it seems to lend itself to turning them more into an art display, and I can also build them around themes. Thank you for stopping by and taking the tour with me!
Awesome!! That's a classy collection you have and wonderfully displayed too. Love the desk setup, you're so professional. I thought the towel was to wipe your forehead during livestreams, Airplane style 🤣Very inspirational - this video has triggered some ideas for the redesign of my own room. Thanks Paul 👍
Thank you very much, Dave! That's high praise coming from someone whose videos are super-polished and has one of the most impressive displays I have seen on CZcams. And if you implement anything I have showcased here, I'd be exceedingly flattered! I'd love to hear about it if you do. Thanks for checking this one out also!
Nice tour Paul. My Office/Star Wars Toy & Prop Museum (and Arcade!) looks like it could be featured on an episode of Hoarders right now. At least I finally figured out a shelf solution!
Thanks, Matt! And you crack me up! An "episode of hoarders." Yeah, I can see how that can easily happen. It's a constant struggle for me to decide what I'm going to display and where, so that it's pleasing to the eye, yet a comprehensive example of the items I collect. It's been a journey, a fun one, but a journey nonetheless getting there for sure! Thank you for stopping by and taking the tour with me!
Showed up for the ILL AL exhibit and got a whole Star Wars exhibit free of charge! 🎉🎉🎉 Haha, great video brotha!
Aw, hellz yeah! The Ill Al display is the centerpiece of the collection, let's just be honest about it. Once I got that up, I built the rest of the silly Star Wars stuff around it. I am glad you appreciated getting to see it all, nonetheless! haha! Thanks for taking the virtual tour with me, youngah brutha!
Really nice tour! I keep boxes in some hard to reach spots. I remember seeing you review some of the figures. Very slick and tidy my man! 🙌🏼
Thank you so much, CwC! I appreciate that. And yeah, as the collection has burgeoned, I have had to get really creative with where I store items and the boxes I want to keep. I have a majority of the storage under the staircase, the tops of the cabinets in the garage, and the entire Star Wars room and it's attached walk-in closet. It's getting hectic around here! haha! Thank you for stopping by and going on the tour with me!
Amazing tour! You got a great collection
Thank you very much, GeekRobot! I appreciate that. I have had a blast amassing it all and devising unique and appealing ways (at least to me) to display it. Thank you for stopping by and taking the tour with me!
@@PaulsCollectibles no problem! 🙏
Fantastic tour Paul. I must admit, I've borrowed your idea for those shadow boxes, I have a few black series figures that I didn't know what to do with (I'm a 3.75 guy). So I've put a few of those frame/boxes up with some Rogue One figures in.
Thank you very much, Dez! And they say the best ideas are the ones you let someone else try first to make sure they will work. haha! In fact, I got the idea for the shadow boxes from another guy on CZcams doing the same with his vintage figure. They really help snazzy up the joint and are a classy way to display loose figures. Thanks for stopping by and taking the tour with me!
Awesome Paul. Do You have anything from your childhood at all ??? I hate clutter too. But right now I’m in total clutter overload. 😂😂😂
Thanks, WizzyWiz! And no, unfortunately, I have nothing left from when I was a child. We had a ton of Star Wars stuff in the 70's and early 80's between me and my brothers. The problem is that we had tough childhood, with a bastard of a father, so none of it is left. All my vintage items I have now have been gifts or donations to the channel. And I cherish each of them! And I can empathize! If I didn't stay diligent and maintain discipline, this room would look like a warehouse. haha! It's tough! Thank you for stopping by and going on the tour with me!
@@PaulsCollectibles well God bless you Paul.
Awesome collection !!!! MTFBWU
Thank you very much, Lewis! I appreciate that. And thank you for stopping by and taking the tour with me.
You're a man after my own heart. I too have the problem of loving and wanting to buy everything Star Wars, but hate clutter. So I either regularly sell on anything I'm not in love with anymore or pack it away and rotate a smaller collection. When I see packed collections and figures lining every inch of collectors walls, I first think wow! That's so cool, I want everything they have, but then I remember the anxiety it would cause me trying to live in it. 😂🫣 So love your set up and they way you have incorporated it really tastefully into the decor. Your shadow boxes and magnets are great ❤
Yes, Colette! You GET me! It's good to hear there are others of our ilk out there. I, like you, totally admire those collectors whose rooms that look like a warehouse and I envy all their cool stuff. Unfortunately, my head would explode if I did that here in my room. On top of all that, this room is painted in darker colors and is the smallest of the four bedrooms in the house by far. The walls would CLOSE IN if I over-displayed! haha! Thank you for your kind words and I appreciate you stopping by and going on the tour with me!
