Holy crap, Gary! THAT'S what it is! I couldn't place it. Her makeup in the show looked amateurish for sure. At least they used that cool purple color on her card, otherwise, I'd just call it a waste of a spot in the TVC where we could have gotten something cooler. An excellent wave. There are significant differences between this Chopper and the version available in Disney Parks a few years ago, but both are great figures.
I agree, Matt. This wave is head and shoulders above that last wave. And I had no idea they had done Chopper before. I don't pay much attention to Shop Disney and don't go to the parks, so I have to watch out for others to talk about that stuff to see if I want it. Recently, the only thing I found myself interested in was that B2-EMO droid they made because I became obsessed with getting everything from Andor since it was a such a a good show! They took for-ev-ver! Cancelled the case I ordered from EE because I was finding the figures from that wave in stock at other places and finally got the last figure last week. Fantastic wave though!
Right, Brett!? I mean it's a good thing I'm not relying on Hasbro "pre-orders" to do CZcams for a living or anything. I'd starve to death! haha! And I have always admired you guys that have the patience to hunt these in the wild. I tried looking for them in stores a couple years ago, but I just didn't have the inclination and it was so frustrating most of the time anyway. I finally realized I just wasn't enjoying the hobby searching them out, so I quit. So alas, I'll just have to depend on my hit-or-miss online orders and hope for the best! haha! And I guess it's not so much about being first (because I'm never special ordering my figures from Hong Kong, haha!) but more about making sure the video is relevant. I don't want to wast anyone's time with something that has become wildly "old hat." But then, I started CZcams as a hobby and to teach myself filming and editing, so I guess I just won't worry so much about Hasbro's issues! haha! Nice looking figure. Specially darth reven. Unfortunately with hasbro having troubles,laying off employees. Shipping is going to suffer. Till disney can start producing some quality star wars shows. And stop pandering to one group everything is going slow down. Let's face it bobf. They changed Boba fett. He was hard core player from the original book series to almost a pacifist in the series. And ahsoka. The few interesting characters. In that show was then enemy. Baylon
Your are a very wise man, Michael, and I couldn't agree with all the points you made here any more! The weird logistics, the sub-par shows, the strange direction they have taken characters, and now the layoffs. 2024 is going to be an interesting year for sure. I just hope we get a Baylan and Shin in the TVC before they ruin the bottom line and stop producing TVC. We shall see, but it's not looking good at all...
