- Another ShopDisney and Hasbro Pulse exclusive: the Star Wars 212th Phase II Clone Trooper four-pack. These army builder packs are a relatively new concept in this fashion for The Vintage Collection line of 3.75" figures and occupy a rather unique niche. As with so many of these releases, this one is not without a little controversy and some interesting decision making on Hasbro's part. Let's get them out of the box and take a look at them.

Great review Paul! It would have been nice if they included an extra generic 212th battalion helmet for people who want to do some army building.

Or, even better, they could have made the fourth trooper an Airborne Trooper and then carded Waxer for us. But hey, what do us collectors out here know, right?! haha! Oh, that's crap, Ed! I had no idea you guys over there on the islands couldn't get these. I have to admit, even as a mostly "on card collector," I do enjoy these packs. You nailed it. 117 degrees?! Come on, man! No amount of Coors Lite is gonna keep you refreshed on the golf course in this weather. Hence, I'm inside more for the time being. And it also helps that products are starting to show again as well! haha!
Great review Paul! I purposefully had to wait to watch yours so it would not influence mine. Definitely some great plusses with this set, and a couple of negatives.
Oh, thanks, Matt! And yeah, they do a pretty good job with these. As you pointed out on my community post, however, they kind of dropped the ball and rendered the "army building" aspect of these moot with the addition of Waxer. Weird. At any rate, still a great set. Thanks for checking this one out!

Thanks, Wizzy Wiz! These are pretty cool, especially if you're only buying one box. If you're buying multiples to army-build with, then that who unique Waxer figure presents an issue. They should have thrown in another basic helmet at least, or made the fourth figure the Airborne trooper in my opinion. Still a great pack, though. Thanks for checking this one out!

Looks good. Now the empire will grow 4 troopers at a time😅. Not sure if you have Ollie's where your at. But sure you have discount stores near you. But they usually have starwars figures at discounted prices
Thanks, Michael! And as you see, "the Empire" is growing out of control and beyond the walls of my display room! I need a bigger space stat! haha! And We don't have Ollie's in Arizona. We have something called Five Below, but I have yet to venture out there. A couple years ago I spent a couple months going on figure hunts, but was so disappointed with what I could(n't) find, I soured on the idea. And now here in Arizona, it's too damn hot to wandering out too much, so I'll have to try to motivate myself later in the year to go over there. haha!
